We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

MalaysiaI secured my booking on booking.com with my credit card (it wasn’t an option to pay in advance) then got a message on the day of my arrival saying they were busy and would only hold my room until 2pm! this was all written in bahasa so I had to google translate but could only reply in English.. I sent several messages to ensure they wouldn’t give my room away and I’d be stranded (cancellation wasn’t an option and they would charge me a full nights cost to cancel!) even though they were threatening to cancel. no one responded to me. luckily when I arrived in Medan a local rung the hotel for me to confirm if my room was available. they said yes but when I arrived they said they’d given my room away!! after I explained I had sent messages and even called they said they had a room for me. terrible communication. when I got to my room I went to run a bath (one of the reasons I chose the hotel) the plug was rusty and didn’t keep the water in and the hot water was lukewarm at best. unpleasant stay overall. would definitely not stay again and definitely not recommend.

Our family really enjoyed our stay here-its a beautiful hotel that's well maintained. Everything was perfect and the staff are really lovely and so helpful. The buffet breakfasts were amazing with lots of choices and a different cooked menu every morning.Its right in the centre of Medan and within easy walking distance to the Mosque and other sights.
