I loved the friendly atmosphere at Kaien Villas. The owner, her family and staff were really welcoming. Rooms were beautiful and I really appreciated the full length mirror. My room was always cleaned to a high standard and the breakfasts were varied and delicious.

You could hear the mosque, but this did not bother us too much.

Very lovely hotel with only 4 rooms and a nice pool and breakfast area. The staff were very friendly and supportive. It was possible to organise a snorkelling trip and rent bikes via the hotel. The location is great, only a 5 minute walk to the beach!

Minor thing- at night the lights and plugs around the bed didn’t work, maybe due to the electricity supply.

I had an amazing stay at Kaien, really wished I stayed longer than 2 nights. Definitely the best stay I had so far in Indonesia, really good value for money. The bed was comfortable, everything was super clean and they had clearly put a lot of thought into the design and the amenities they offered such as nice soaps, drinks etc. the room was large and bathroom was great. Also appreciated the amount of storage space! The pool was nice and cold and also very large. The garden was beautiful and the whole hotel very quiet, but 5 mins away from restaurants and shops. It also felt safe although the road outside was pretty dark. There are only 4 bungalows so it felt very personal, the staff were really friendly and attentive and anticipated my every need. Breakfast was also very good, had a nice variety of foods and desserts. Portion size was really good- didn’t need lunch! They also gave a welcome drink which was needed after the walk from the harbour. Also while I was there the owner’s pug was there who was really sweet. Highly recommend staying here, I’ll definitely stay again if I return to Gili Air.

The hotel can’t do anything about this but we could hear the prayers from the mosque very loudly. You can’t avoid this easily I guess.

It’s close to everything but not in the Main Street. The staff is very nice and helped us with every need. The pool was awesome as it was refreshing for once. Up until now, the guest houses we stayed in with a pool, the water was warm. Breakfast was also nice, you always receive fresh fruit and can choose between 5 options of breakfast.

Nothing at all, it was perfect.

Kaien Villas was a little place of heaven! We were so happy to have found it! Zul, Tia & Adi were the sweetest kindest people you can imagine working there and made us feel so welcome and at home. The villas and grounds are pristine, very aesthetically thought through and very well maintained. The location was super convenient and quiet. Would recommend for a perfect stay on Gili Air. Everything! We loved it! The pool and garden are is small but beautiful, very cozy. The rooms are extremely clean, simple and comfortable. There are always three people from the staff attentive and friendly, so kind! The breakfast is nothing fancy but it is ok. Perfect stay and we hope we come back.

What an amazing discover Kaien Villas! We absolutely loved it and we would definitely come back here! Position is amazing: just 5 minutes walking from the Harbour and from the nicest beaches where it is possible to watch the sunset in the evening , rooms are big and SO clean! The staff is very nice and helpful :)

Only negative point is that the bathroom door doesn't shut properly.

Tia, Zul and Didi were EXCEPTIONAL hosts! They made sure we were assisted all the time. Super friendly and caring! We loved them so much! The room was really clean and smelled so good. Beds were really comfy and linen was fresh.

Very well maintained garden and swimming pool. 4 villa’s i a nice garden. Most beautiful accomodation ever. We prolonged our stay as it was too nice to leave. Staff was very friendly and could help with anything you want. Can’t say it enough, BEST ACCOMODATION EVER ! Thank you for everything.

It is super clean and the bed was comfortable. The pool is nice and the location is great as it is not right on the beach where there can be too many people but it is close enough to get to the beach very quickly. The staff was also super helpful and had great recommendations for where to eat.
