the location is very peaceful and yet close to all the main attractions. Staff is very friendly and polite. Design of the resort is excellent and very green The cafe is made completely of wood and serves great food and drinks. The owner lent me his own bike because my rented bike could only be delivered the next morning.

Truly such a joy! 🫶🏼 We enjoyed a delightful stay at Kayu Mama for three nights. The pool was the perfect spot to unwind, our cabin was cosy and the outdoor bathroom was a beautiful place to connect with nature. The food at the onsite restaurant was a real highlight. Being dairy free was incredibly easy with plenty of vegan options available, all mouth wateringly good! A high quality dining experience, easily one of the best places we ate at during our stay in Bali. Service was top tier, all of the staff were friendly and accomodating. We also enjoyed rejuvenating massages and a facial during our stay, which we’d highly recommend! 💆🏼‍♀️ Overall the resort had been planned so well, from layout, to furnishings, to food and the small considerations that made our lives easier. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and would be back in a heartbeat… thank you so much Kayu Mama family 🥰

The place is amazing, it’s close to the main areas in Uluwatu but far enough to be quiet and relaxing. The staff is just the best, they were super nice and always helpful whenever I needed something. The food in the restaurant was delicious, definitely one of the best I ever had. This resort made my Uluwatu experience the best possible. Thank you!

Wish they could change the towels at least 2 - 3 days once. We were there for 5 days and by the 3rd day we had to request for clean towels. Also the owner is quite grumpy but he is lucky enough to get good staff to compensate.

The location is serene and quite, yet very close to the main drag. The room and bathrooms are big and clean. The staff was amazingly friendly and helpful.

There was nothing!

Just about EVERYTHING!!!! It was the perfect quiet getaway and we felt very very welcome. Very new place, well taken care of, great Flora. 10 Min to get to nearly every beach. Their restaurant is absolutely great and the staff was magnificent, they were always around when needed, but gave you the most privacy. Recommend their Bali Bliss Bowl for breakfast and the Eggplant Burrata. The father of the owner was around, he was super friendly, drove us to the closest Temple, gave us the necessary Sarungs to wear, lent his scooter to us, gave us some hints. They even organized a private dinner on the upper floor for our engagement. Close to there is our favorite Warung(Boga Sari). You will not regret going to the inland instead of the coast, it was the best choice we made. Very authentic, very Bali, just perfect! We’ll be back.. 🙂

Way to expensive for what you get. The villa has seen better times and needs some renovation. It was not clean at all - every has staines, spider webs and dead insects everywhere (even in the bed). Not what I would expect in that price range - so not recommended.

The location is good, just a bit outside of Uluwatu center in the quit and green.

I was very busy in Bali and had two free nights in my schedule so opted to stay in this quiet, small hotel and hoped to enjoy the spa. However, there is no spa. The staff can arrange for a massage in your room if you book in advance. The spa menu on Booking.com, and on the hotel website, is very misleading. The WiFi didn't work well inside the room. I think it was the same for others because a lot of guest were taking internet calls and meetings on their verandas. If you choose to stay here, opt for a stand alone cottage. The rooms with shared walls are not very private.

The Kayu Mama Resort & "Spa" is situated in a lovely location - off the beaten track and surrounded by nature. The gardens are beautiful and the rooms comfortable.
