Truly an amazing place, everything was fantastic. The villas are amazing, comfortable beds and the outdoor showers are an absolute treat. The staff are always friendly and helpful, they made our trip so memorable. The tours offered by Kelapa resort were brilliant and we enjoyed them so much! I would recommend this place to everyone!

Menu for dinner rather limited. The SPA - therapists are not professional. Tried massage and ask them to stop after 10’. The therapist had no techniques for deep massage. Not experienced at all.

Nothing!! Through 8 nights stay wasn't even a single aspect to complain about or notice any inconvenience.

This made my top properly this time on Bali, beating even previously beloved places and some ultra-luxury establishments! Stayed for 8 nights, yet I wish I could stay more. There is so much to love about this - remote location on stunning, wide, black sand, powder-soft beach, settled within coconut grove on the extra large territory. Villas with private pools, where pools are 10m long or even longer, with lovely gardens and large trees. Two large pools on the hotel territory and excellent restaurant that cooks what you desire to, easily off the menu to fulfill what you really want. Think of Aman type of property, just 10x less expensive, yet with all the attenuative and helpful staff, and highest degree of customization of your stay. Even by Bali standards this is total gem! Absolutely want to be back!!

The benefit of the seclusion and remoteness meant if you wanted to get off the resort getting transport (grab/gojek)was sometimes a challenge, but the hotel does offer their hotel cars to mitigate this.

Small scale but spacious resort - I loved the privacy afforded guests and space the resort exuded. The resort is right on a clean and safe beach making for excellent views and swimming.

NOTHING!

I spent 8 days at Kelapa. I enjoyed each and every moment. Great location. Staff was impeccable (reception, restaurant, spa, gardeners, cleaners). It's a great place for couples, very romantic. But I would definitely recommend it also to solo travellers (as I was..), if you want to unplug, get away from stress and routing, being pampered, spend a few days relaxing with your favourite book. Special mention goes to Ardi the chef. The food was just amazing. I would also suggest participating in the various activities organized by the hotel. I really hope to go back! Thanks again for a great experience.

They resort is huge and upkeep of it could be better, our shower did not work and we had to call housekeeping twice. They came and fixed it promptly both times and they could do more for the guests to keep mosquitoes at bay. We asked for a mosquito coil and this helped tremendously.

The bet part of this resort is the hospitality and attentiveness of the staff. Nothing is too much and they're incredibly service oriented. This is our second time here and we really always feel so warmly welcomed and taken care off.

Kelapa Hotel is a wonderfull resort on Indian Ocean beach, with such a great exotic garden, many frangipani trees, palms, beautiful plants. The staff is absoluty great, very warm and kind. Food at the restaurant is local and international, great taste. The SPA are provide many types of massage, please try Samudra massaje and hot stone masage. I' like to come back come day there, totally recommand Kelapa Resort and Spa.

Not that I did not like it, but you have to calculate around 3 hrs drive from the airport as the roads are small and busy. The scenery is beautiful though, so you can just enjoy the ride.

Exceptional hotel and facilities. The hotel is maybe one of the best maintained and most beautiful I have ever been to. There are only around 25 villas, some with direct beach access and pool, others with ocean view and then also garden view. All are beautiful. The beach is long and empty and you can even go for an extensive run there (there is no gym, but who needs that when you can run or do yoga at the beach. The staff is fantastic and super attentive. There are not many restaurants around, but the menu in the hotel is very well priced and the quality was amazing. We already booked again for April.

My husband and me have been traveling in Asia for many years, but rarely did we enjoy a place as close to a serene paradise as Kelapa Retreat. The location is a secluded two hours away from bustling Canggu but very much worth the scenic, albeit bit bumpy drive. The resort complex is just breathtakingly beautiful and spacious, there is a big infinity pool and a slightly smaller one in the midst of coconut trees, plus most villas come with a private pool. We had a garden pool villa and enjoyed the privacy it offered very much but also relaxed at the bigger infinity pool that has an amazing view at the sea. The beach is almost completely empty and perfect for long sunset walks. Staff at Kelapa were friendly, helpful and accommodating at all times, we were allowed to check-in early, and when there was a medical issue, a staff member escorted us to the public health center and tried to organize medicine delivery from Canggu. Yoga class at the beach-front shala was great, the in-house spa as well.
