The location is not great (not the best neighborhood, with noisy streets and train tracks close), and the food options in the area are limited if you don't want streetfood.

It was not as loud as expected (with earplugs you are fine), and the staff even warned about possible noise. There are water refill tanks in the hallways and the rooms are small but have all amenities (hairdryer, toiletries, etc)

Housekeeping might check the amenities before the front desk hands the key. Found no towel, empty soap dispenser, & broken room telephone (so that I need to go up & down several times, went to receptionist asking for the amenities ) Pretty hard to say that the breakfast was a good one. All (meant to be) savory dishes turned into sweet and exactly taste the same. Please let guess to grab their own food and lease don't mix milk with water. The egg station guy should take a note on the order if they ask us to sit on the table, when I preferred to wait. Because they forgot what kind of egg I ordered when I came to take mine. That was 10 minutes wasting.

Quite strategic location. Near to beach & tourist attractions, culinaries, huge mall, and bargain markets. The free parking did well until afternoon even though we've already checked out in the morning

The hotel smell bad starting from the lobby , elevator, corridor and room toilet. It has small window for smoking only , they call it room with view. Bed is not conformable. Air-conditioning let you feel sick in the morning

I paid for my accommodation twice. I arrived at the lobby and I showed them my email about my booking and my ID and they said that I haven't paid for my room yet. Which is stupid. I remember that I paid to booking.com but I can't give them another proof beside the email from booking.com who said that I've paid a certain amount. They assure me that if I pay using my card it's not like they will deduct my money so I was like oh ok then. The time passes and then someone from the establishment contacted me asking why I didn't check in. And to my surprise I accidentally double booked the accommodation, BUT! Still fhey did not check my booking.com booking at ALL.

I like how the water heater works. I like the size of the room. I like the smell of the lobby.

I booked at the New Manga Du Hotel, it was a wonderful experience, but unfortunately there was a double payment, so I paid cash upon arrival, and the Booking application deducted the amount from my account. Of course, when I return to Jakarta, I will live in the same hotel out of appreciation for the hotel and its staff, especially Mr. Lotfi.

Horrible hotel. Here’s why: 1. Dirty and Old (the pictures are deceiving) 2. Eventhough I booked for 2 people - only got 1 towel, 1 toothbrush (They said if you have 1 bed, you only get 1 of those items) wth? 3. Hairdryer and Iron will only be given by request but the devices are faulty and barely works 4. The place smells HORRIBLE (from lobby to room) 5. My neighbours even got raided at 5AM - waking everyone up. 6. The lift is slow and only 1 out of 2 was working. 7. Poor room service. Asked for towels and it came 3 hours later. 8. Staff are not cooperative

I paid for the room so that I can choose what kind of bed I prefer, and such. There was an option for a much cheaper price but it cannot choose the bed type. When I come for check in, the receptionist told me that smoking room with a twin bed is the only thing available. I told her I cannot deal with that and that I paid extra so I can choose but they can't do anything. So yeah, I, who happened to have lung problems, have to stay overnight in a smoking room where smoke residue is literally IN EVERY FURNITURE, even the bathroom has strong smell of cigarettes. I asked if I can just make an upgrade, pay extra for bigger rooms just to get out of that suffocating room. They said, "Upon decisions made by our housekeeping staffs we will just spray some fragrance around the room." So what they did is to add EVEN MORE CHEMICAL to SMOKE RESIDUE all over the room. Great job for suffocating me. I will never stay at this hotel EVER AGAIN.
