The only, point of improvement was that on the morning of check out, the outside deck area was not prepared and lounges uncovered - if was as if we had left already, however when checkout is at 12 there is still half a day in which you could enjoy the private pool and deck.

The service provided by Ngurah, our butler was exceptional. He is an asset to the property. The villas are new and very comfortable as well as very well appointed. The morning and turn down services conducted seamlessly without interruption (they noticed when we left the villa. There was nothing that was too much for them, from organising massages in the room, to organising transport to nearby hotels for dinner or cocktails and a late checkout on the day of departure. Note - there is no gym on site however the property can organise access to the gym nearby. The location of the place is exceptional.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at The Ridge Bali in the Sayan area of Ubud. The hotel has six fully serviced villas, which are very comfortable and luxurious. The staff were extremely nice and friendly, and the breakfast was amazing. Overall, everything was great.

I chose this place because it is very new, has an amazing view with it’s location and it looked amazing with it’s ambiance. And my experience was far beyond this. First of all they welcome me with a delicious drink at the bar and Vlad hosted me very nicely while i was waiting for my room. Also they upgraded my villa and the villa has a stunning view. The moment i saw it i felt like i am in heaven. The villa has river, jungle and rice terrace view. Every little detail about the villa the design itself, the decor is so elegant and tasteful. You can see the elegance of Balinese touch in everything. Everything you may need and even more has been considered. So private and cozy that you feel yourself so relaxed and indulged. Unfortunately i stayed only 2 nights but i spent all my time in The Ridge Bali and didn’t want to go outside. Angga and Anggi are very professional, kind and caring. They didn’t skip any detail to make yourself comfortable and felt special. The bar area is also exceptional with its view, especially at sunset and the menu it has. I had my delicious breakfasts in my villa, amazing dinners at the bar area. I also had yoga session and massage in my room, both of them were great, thanks to Win and Sri. The villas are cleaned twice a day. There is always fresh fruits in the villa. I had an afternoon tea, was also very nice and delicious. You can easily contact the butlers via whatsapp, they are so careful with your privacy and so kind. Thanks to Desak, who contacted me from the begining to the end. Thanks to everyone, they all made my stay memorable. And lastly thanks to the Owner, thanks to you for this amazing place, and the exceptional luxury service you and your team provide to your guests. This is exactly the best and unique experience I have ever had! I would definitely love to come back again.

Everything was amazing! The rooms are perfectly equipped with every detail you could wish. It was all the time so clean and we received fresh fruits and drinks. The outside area with the stunning view and pool - just speechless! The staff is very friendly and helpful with everything you need. They organized an amazing tour- the food in the restaurant and the breakfast is a dream! We almost couldn’t wait to get up in the morning to enjoy it and never went to another place outside to eat, as we just wanted to enjoy the restaurants lovely cooked food. The ridge was the best place we went on our Bali trip! After we left this place it was really hard to get comfortable at another place! I really hope to can come back one day! In a word: excellent! What a wonderful place to relax. Everything was done to perfection. The staff, especially Ngurah, was super helpful. The villa is fully equipped including a lovely infinity pool. In the beautiful Sunset Bar we had a delicious breakfast and a lovely dinner in the evening. If we are in Ubud again we will definitely come back. Highly recommended.

The moment we entered the door, we felt like we came to a completely different world. They gave a very warm welcome. They prepared a delicious welcome drink, which felt very good during the check-in process. They upgraded our room, and we were happy. The view was magnificent. Every detail has been tastefully thought out and decorated: simple, stylish, elegant and comfortable. There was a tea and coffee machine, different types of tea and coffee capsules. They prepared cookies and tropical fruits and put them next to it. We liked it very much. We paid including breakfast. There was a breakfast menu in the room, we informed them what we wanted to eat the night before and asked them to bring it to our room. It was very nice to have breakfast in the garden of the room with the view and open air. Each of the foods was delicious and satisfying, and their presentations were beautiful. We had dinner at the hotel, the presentation and taste were very good and they took very good care of us. The hotel also offers massage services. We said the day before that we wanted a massage and fixed the time. They came to our room exactly at the time we planned. It has become one of the most unique experiences in our lives. I definitely recommend you to try it. The staff are incredibly friendly, helpful and warm. They made us feel like at home. Edy took such good care of us that he made every moment at the hotel unique. When we said we wanted to buy tropical fruit, he bought mangosteen fruit for us. Many thanks and love to Edy and Anggi for their contribution to leaving us with such beautiful memories. There were a few places we wanted to visit when leaving the hotel, and they took us wherever we wanted. They said they could also help with airport transfer. In other words, from the moment we stepped into the hotel to the end, they showed incredible interest and added value to every moment. They provided us with an experience far beyond our expectations.

We have just come back from the Ridge and thoroughly recommend it to anyone who will listen! The river view villa is beautifully designed and appointed. The jungle and river views from the deck area are just wonderful. Everything in the property has been carefully hand picked down to the beautiful ceramics breakfast is served in. The attention to detail is everywhere, the design of the room and the finishes just on point, relaxing and stylish. The staff were so helpful and welcoming. We have never been looked after like this anywhere else. Our 2 lovely butlers Edy and Ngurah made sure all our wishes came true! Nothing was too much trouble. Our anniversary sure didn’t go unnoticed! Thanks again for all the lovely attentions, we couldn’t have asked for more. The property also has a small but stylish restaurant serving Indonesian cuisine with a view. Do yourselves a favour and book your stay!

It was our first time in Bali and we had a spectacular vacation right from the moment our butler Agung picked us up at the airport. Agung went above and beyond to make our stay as memorable as possible, he was incredibly helpful and very friendly, helped us organise trips, and told us a lot of insights about all sorts of things starting from sightseeing tips to Bali's culture and history. The villa and the service exceeded all our expectations! Watching the most beautiful sunsets in Ubud right from the doorstep of your villa is priceless. At times, it was hard to leave to explore Ubud just because it was so cosy and relaxing in our villa. Since the villa was recently built everything there is brand new, and you can feel that they've put a lot of thought when designing it. Many little touches such as a great selection of local teas or cosy kimonos make you feel welcomed and at home. Loved the breakfast selection, the coffee really good too. They also have a decent selection of in-room dining, plus we were able to sometimes order a delivery from the nearby restaurants which the hotel staff very nicely served on regular plates. We also had a massage included (one of the best we had in Bali) and the tea ceremony - which was a delight in itself. All the hotel employees were really welcoming and friendly and promptly accommodated all our requests. I would definitely recommend this place and would really love to return here myself.

The location was set upon a ‘ridge’ overlooking the most stunning view. It’s not too far from the city centre (15min by car ) or adventures activities. Perfect spot.

A great experience with stunning sunset view. The second time in Bali, to celebrate anniversary. We have previously stayed in other resorts in Bali, and the experience in this boutique hotel is as good as any of the top-tiers that we have stayed in. You could feel that the hotel team sincerely wants to make your stay an enjoyable and memorable one. They take note of every detail that you like, e.g the fruit you prefer, the coffee, the tea, and always there to help. Shoutout to the personal butler Agung who is very nice and always helpful. The hotel is also new, so all the facilities are easy to use which was a problem for some other older resorts in Bali. This is a great place to stay with a vacation mindset - could do some tour in Ubud or nearby during the day, and enjoy the sunset view to wrap up the day.

This resort is a hidden gem! It's tucked away in such a perfect spot, and it's amazing how the place transforms from a simple entrance to this incredible oasis. You feel like you're strolling through a tropical forest, which is super cool. The Villa and its view is stunning – you get this gorgeous mix of lush green forests, charming rice terraces, and the peaceful Ayung River where we were able to relax in a quiet and serene environment. And I can't forget to mention Agung, our personal butler. He made us feel special, almost like we were at home but even better. What a beautiful place! We felt home from the very first moment. A warm welcome, from a exeptionally friendly and attentive staff. A very comfortable room with a extraordinary tasteful interior design and a spacious outdoor area with a plunge in Pool surrounded by lush plants. The view is spectacular and we enjoyed sunset with a chilled glass of white wine on one of the sun beds. Our charming butler Agung took care of all our requests all day long. A really delightful stay, on a highly recommendable charming place.

My wife and I have stayed in Bali on many occasions over the years. Our favourite location by far is Sayan Ridge and this new boutique hotel is absolutely fantastic. Its small so you feel really special, the staff are wonderful, particularly Made Puspa and the views, the views...easily the best we have experienced and we have experienced many. A really brilliant new addition to the scene in Sayan and I won't look further next time. Why pay more at the Four Seasons for views and service which frankly are far surpassed by the Ridge? Whoever is responsible for this place: bravo. We absolutely loved staying here, so many really nice thoughtful touches. Particularly enjoyed the complimentary massage.

I absolutely loved my stay! What struck me most was the combination of casual luxury and home comfort. I loved the calming minimalism of the interior with thoughtful details. After a hectic work schedule, my partner and I decided to have a little getaway and chose a place that we would be pampered and taken care of. And The Ridge Bali delivered exactly that! When we arrived, the staff was very welcoming. We stayed in a stunning villa with a pool and were blown away by the quality and attention to detail of the property. Our personal butler Surya was attentive and able to accommodate everything for us during our stay. We took advantage of the complimentary spa treatment in our own villa upon arrival. Our most memorable time was simply chilling on our deck, sipping wines during sunset overlooking the most spectacular jungle view Ubud is famous for, ordered in-house dining and just chatting and hanging out through the night under the stars. If you’re looking for a quality, relaxing time surrounded by the luscious greenery of Ubud and the most hospitable staff, this is the right place for you. I highly recommend it. Unfortunately, our stay was short, so we didn’t have a chance to try out their activities and tours. Hopefully we can explore more on our next visit.
