It's a lovely hotel a little far out from the city HOWEVER it is on a great bus route and a lovely walk to the city if the weather's OK.

Lovely staff Great breakfast The room was always clean Great location on bus route I liked that you are given your own key to the front door so you can come and go as you please even if the staff isn't there.

    Carpets could do an update.

Very nice continental breakfast. Catered vegans! High ceilings & huge windows in the room gives an airy character. Handy parking. Overall nice & atmospheric Dublin townhouse -- Not your usual generic hotel.

Old windows, although beautiful they let alot of noise in and even with the shutters closed over I woke up multiple times throughout the night with the noise from the traffic outside

Rooms nice and spacious, clean. En suite, clean and modern. Good comfy bed with good quality bedding

The bathroom fan is loud and it comes on when the bathroom light is turned on. It would be nice if they could be regulated separately.

Did not stay for breakfast’. Loved the room, clean and pleasant to stay in.

The shower was broken when I arrived (only scalding water available), but it got fixed the next day. Earlier start for breakfast would be useful (I had to be somewhere else shortly after 8 am).

The room was spacious and well heated. I also always appreciate a kettle in the room. Friendly and helpful staff. You can have an egg (boiled or fried) with the continental breakfast.

The room was quite small however it did not pose a single problem. The employees were very polite and kind. We had everything we needed and even the distance to the city centre is walkable but you can always take the bus. Nearby is a grocery store, drugstore and even restaurants. Would definitely come back.

Water pressure was almost non existent sometimes. Decor a little tired and carpet frayed.

A reasonably priced place in a good location. Out of the noise of the city center, but it's only a 20 min walk or short bus ride. Breakfast is very good, staff are friendly, obliging and pleasant. Clean and tidy room

Not a complaint, but definitely not an American hotel room. Just need to set expectations. The shower was VERY small, but again, not so abnormal by European standards.

Personally, I like to be amongst locals when I'm visiting. Donnybrook is the perfect balance of being in the midst of local pubs and restaurants and being an easy walk/bus ride to City Centre and the Dart station. Morehampton Townhouse is an excellent place to stay in Donnybrook.
