Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

The hotel is in a great place to discover the city. It is a short walk from Temple Bar. The room was clean and the staff was nice and helpful.

IrelandRoom wasn’t ready until 4pm for checkin but staff apologised and were lovely. The room was a bit noisy but I had seen that in previous reviews so I expected it, there isn’t much noise insulation between the rooms. I could hear people above using bathroom and flushing toilet.
Room was lovely. Location was great. The room was very clean.

Netherlandsnot much, all staff goes all out to make sure you are satisfied and happy. You will be treated as royalty! For this price there are not much accomodations available, for sure
staff was super friendly. I arrived way too early, and they went all out to give me a room anyway. For the same price I got a room with a large bed for two. Location is perfect, 20-30 minute walk to pretty much everything you need to see in |Dublin. Coffee at breakfast was very good, missed the full fry a bit, but thats not something to complain about. Go 50 metres into OÇonnol street and you can get it there. Very happy to have stayed at this hotel!

United KingdomNot their fault, but the people above were quite loud walking around. Normally don't notice but they were very heavy footed and difficult to ignore when falling asleep.
The lady on reception was very helpful and knowledgeable. Allowed us to leave our bags and we were able to check in early. Location is perfect for exploring Dublin- we were there two full days. Hop on and Hop off Bus stops right outside. We didn't eat but the breakfasts looked very good and seemed popular. Tea and coffee in the rooms, which was brilliant.

United KingdomWater pressure in shower was poor. No hot water in wash basin. Breakfast whilst competitively priced could have been better. Fresh fruit provided was excellent but scrambled eggs were seriously overdone & all 3 cooked items could have been hotter
Staff were exceptional. Went out of their way to help. For example, printing return boarding passes & booking Aircoach return tickets to airport for us. Generally providing information & assistance. Definitely recommend staying there. Location perfect for city centre. Rooms well appointed, clean and attractively furnished. Good selection of tea and coffee in the room. Good big fluffy white bath towels. Able to open window for fresh air.

United KingdomMy room was a bit tired and could do with refurbishment. The ensuite bathroom had loose taps that weren't marked hot or cold and which had been reversed ie cold on left and hot on right.. Plumbing was poor so toilet slow to flush. Bathroom floor very slippy, as grouting discoloured think this was from over polishing.
Staff were friendly and helpful. Communal areas were recently refurbished and the bar is a lovely place to have breakfast or drinks. Bed comfortable with clean linen. Just off O'Connell Street so handy location. Virgin WIFI worked well.
