Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

ItalyHonestly I cannot find a negative thing about this property.
The room is small, but it is gorgeous, it’s warm and cosy, very clean, tea and coffee facility in the room, good quality toiletries and super comfy beds. The staff were very smiling and welcoming. Plenty of bars, pubs and restaurants nearby. Well done guys!

United States of AmericaWe had no control over the heat and on a couple of ocasiones it was chilly in the room, not what you want after walking Dublin all day.
Very nice pair of Georgian townhouses set up as a hotel. Unfortunately we had the smallest room,a garden room. It was small, but nicely furnished. Very nice bathroom with shower but no tub. We found a restaurant about half a mile away that was great, The Sussex. Very good food at reasonable prices!

United KingdomNot really any complaints. The only niggle - on the website it states: - Situated in Ballsbridge Dublin 4, just off the bustling Baggot Street and only a few minutes walk from St. Stephen’s Green..... ONLY A FEW MINUTES WALK FROM ST STEPHEN'S GREEN? I don't think so.... unless you're a time traveller :-) It's around 15-20 minutes walk to St Stephen's Green (and I'm a speedy walker according to my family) not a few minutes - so this is misleading. I'd already checked the location so I knew the description was inaccurate. We didn't mind the walk - but if you have mobility issues you might want to consider if this is a dealbreaker.
Gorgeously decorated guest house in a brilliant quiet spot - but only a few mins walk to the cafes/shops/pubs on Baggot Street. We stayed in a double room on the ground floor and it was very cosy. We would stay here again but would probably book a bigger room. This is a room-only venue so no breakfast option. We didn't mind as it was so close to everything and we just walked everywhere for a few days and were blessed with blue skies. The reception staff were helpful and kind enough to let us check in early. Everywhere was immaculate and we enjoyed it very much.

IrelandThe room and staff were excellent. It is not a big place but it's very well done for a townhouse location. Couldn't fault the place and the coffee machine in reception is class. We will be back.

United States of AmericaThe Hotel was located on a quiet street but close to Baggot Street . Liked being able to park car at the Hotel and walk to Baggot Street. Hotel only 7 miles from Airport which was a plus. Owners had left recommendations for restaraunts and sites to see which was helpful.

United KingdomI only booked this place because it had free parking. The car park is tiny and had to park on the street and pay & get up early to move it. It was also really hot in the room and the windows were hard to open. There was a fan. I’m sure this is an unusual complaint in Ireland though!

AustraliaWasn’t given the room I had booked and discovered on Bookings. com that it was still available! Found the room we were given was up and down stairs, small bed and no extra bedding such as pillows. Staff we’re helpful but when prompted eg. after a frustrating day with the Dublin transport system we found it difficult to access Netflix after already having logged into the system. It’s only a small point but after having a frustrating day the last thing you want to do is muck around with this , you just want to relax! It was if we were just $$$ in a room with no service and it was expensive for what we got.
Location was quite central
