Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

IsraelCleanliness and maintenance but my stay was during an extraordinary situation, so that might have been the reason that not everything was working well.
The room was huge. The view from the room was great. The hotel is situated 5 minutes walk from the train station. The hotel stuff was very nice. The room's security lock was broken. The stuff told me, that they not gonna fix it as there is no need because there is no way to open the door from outside. That was not very helpful. The room was not very clean, the light switches were pretty dirty and there were long black hairs on the cushion. On the other hand, the bathroom and the towels were super clean. Great breakfast!

Israelcommunication with the lobby was quite difficult. twice I tried to request extra towels over the room phone and no one answered. when going down to the lobby to request the attendants were on social media instead of answering the phone. the elevators work very badly. cleaning of the pool area is precarious. around the pool there was a lot of pigeon poo. in the pool there is no clock and the songs are boring and repetitive. in the pool there were people drinking vodka and beers in glass bottles next to the children, as well as inside the pool. daily room cleaning leaves something to be desired.
the location of the hotel is great. the manager is kind and super responsive. breakfast is excellent and varied. the pool is very large and with plenty of chairs around it. the room is a good size and the beds clean and comfortable!

IsraelPool opened at 9 and closed at 6, would have preferred longer hours. When we arrived at 9 to swim, staff was cleaning pool so we couldn't enter immediately and later when we came back at 5.15 to swim, there were swimming lessons taking up the whole pool and then the lifeguard chased everyone out at 5.45. In the suite there was only one chair forcing us to have a picnic dinner sitting on the floor. The restaurant was very expensive for dinner and local kosher restaurant options closed by 7 pm
Comfortable bed, pleasant breakfast with many options, close to bus stops since I didnt have a car. Nice outdoor pool. Fridge in room, complimentary water and fruit platter, wine and popcorn for kuds

CanadaWe were in rooms on business floor. The business lounge was out of service. Disappointing. A few years ago we enjoyed that lounge and refreshments. The hallway on our floor 9 was smelly like smoke. The food at the breakfast buffet could use improvement. For example the shakshuka and other egg dishes are always overcooked so the egg yolks are hard. We found it strange that the breakfast buffet had pasta, ravioli etc which are not breakfast food. would like quiche, bagels, and crepes and better fruits. We did enjoy the salads and cheese selection. Swimming pool: the rules are not enforced by the lifeguard: A couple of children were running around the edge of the pool, jumping in etc is unsafe. Lifeguard/staff on duty ignored them.
we have stayed here before. This time we had 2 rooms for 2 nights. We like the location and the pool.

GermanyParking at hotel is comparatively small but there is a big paid parking nearby.
As the only business hotel in the town, it used to be disappointment in the past but, surprisingly, the hotel become better. No restaurant/bar on site anymore and fitness/pool are closed but it has free WiFi in rooms now and not as crazily overpriced as it used to be. Good progress, keep up!

United States of AmericaThere was an iron burn on the carpet that was rough on my bare feet.
Excellent location, just a few minutes walk from the Bus station. I made a last minute booking as I was very tired after travelling from Tel Aviv and wanted to rest before continuing on my journey early the next morning. I didn't mention in the booking that I was in Israel celebrating my birthday, so it was such a pleasant surprise to receive welcome gifts and an unexpected room upgrade. I had to leave by 5:30am the next morning, and a take-away breakfast box was prepared. I felt so special.

That was a business trip, everything was fine. Would like to mention Ms. Linoy, the customer service manager for her outstanding service, she has contacted me before my stay there, asking if anything required, also took a lot of care upon arriving and during my stay there. United States of AmericaThe hotel is long overdue for the renovation. The carpet in the room is old and stained, the bathroom is clean but also old fashioned . No iron in the room, had to go to the other floor to use an iron, which was old and stained my dress.
We travelled for a family event, and the location of the hotel was very convenient for it. The breakfast was a regular Israeli breakfast. The staff is trying very hard and giving extra perks. However the hotel is old and in the major need of renovation
