Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

UkraineThey have a noisy parties and beetles in some rooms. It was designed as perfect hotel but currently managed very badly. As compensation to have a good review they usually gives free lunch or upgrade to suite for free for next reservation. This is the reason that I ordered suite but got 2 rooms instead as all suite's are gone to compensate other customers.
This hotel is a total mess. So you can freely claim for compensation. Just get written promise from them. They will forget their promises 10 times at least.

IsraelThe room hasn't been cleaned Too much to wait to the vegan food (a stuff forgot to give it us from the kitchen) Although getting the option to leave later the room had been closed before the time. The room isn't acceptable for invalid people like the exit to balcony has a high stair, and it is impossible to get out to balcony and come back from there to the room. And if you have the problem with your back, the matrece is not for you. I couldn't sleep on this at all ,and sleeped on the little sofa in the room.
The carry and the work of kitchen management And the stuff on reception and Rotem from, client service

IsraelThe only thing I liked was the Dead sea.
I ordered 2 rooms with balconies. One of the balconies was open to and at the same level with people smoking outside and looking into the room. Had to keep curtains closed during all the stay at the "hotel"/ No other rooms were available... in the second room we found cigarets thrown from upper floors at the balcony, nobody cleans these balconies at all, so we were cleaning this balcony every day from cigarets and trash... Food was fair but not more than that. Location was bad. No parking. Had to walk about 200m from parking place...

IsraelOur experience at Leonardo Plaza Hotel at the Dead Sea was not pleasant and we overheard several other guests pinpointing similar issues. The food caused us stomach aches (there were roaches next to the food during breakfast), the first room we were assigned to had graffiti on the headboard, the floor was scratched, the windows dirty, the sofa had holes on it, and the balcony was dirty. In the second room we were given (after we had to wait two hours to receive), there were sunflower seeds on the floor, the sink was clogged and dirty, the shower wasn't clean, the cups we used during our stay weren't washed or replaced, and our bed was made sloppily after we asked twice for new pillows because the ones we were initially given had brown and yellow spots on them. When we asked the first time for new pillows, we were told by the cleaning staff that all the pillows in the hotel are just like that. The staff at the bar wasn't around and we had to search for them. When he was found and we were ready to order, he just went away again. In addition, we asked for a courtesy bottle of wine to celebrate our first wedding anniversary, and after we were told that this request was approved, nothing was provided during our stay. The hotel's pool was in a state of disrepair, the gym was dirty and dusty, the mats provided had brown spots, and there were sunflower seeds on the floor there as well. The bathrooms that were for all of the guests were also not cleaned properly. There were feces all over several of the toilets, door handles, and sinks. The hallways leading to the rooms were uninviting in the extreme. The carpet was filthy, the paint on the walls was uneven (there were splotches of bright green paint underneath the Grey-purple paint that dominated most of the wall), and the light fixtures were barely attached to the wall creating a dull and dingy environment.
There were a few bright spots during our stay. When we did complain, the staff did try and make our stay more pleasant. We were given complimentary chocolate and Dead Sea mud, a discounted coupon for lunch, and a late check-out.

IsraelCheck-in: Hidden costs (taxes) not made clear by Booking.com. Maybe it's in the small print but when you see Total price, you expect total price to stop there and not be hit with a +15% tax charge. Check-in staff not particularly friendly. Room: Booking.com showed a picture of a large room with 2 separate double beds. Reality: 1 large double bed. Booking.com listed a sofabed in the room. Reality: nowhere to sit in the room apart from the bed and 1 plastic desk chair. Hotel: The hotel is looking tired. The corridors smell bad and the carpet was very dirty. The bathrooms are old fashioned and show signs of black mold. Breakfast: The chef on the eggs was inexperienced and insensitive to guest requests. Threw about 3 eggs away during cooking. Took an order for 9 different eggs from one person and let everyone else wait. Checkout: The need to queue for over 15 minutes just to drop keys off was ridiculous.
Room: the bed was great, the size of the towel was great, the a/c worked well. Breakfast: Good selection of foods Lobby bar: Really great staff, very friendly and helpful.

IsraelDirty room. Very poor maintenance level. A.C. noise that disturbed me from sleeping. More than 40 minutes to check-in and more than 20 minutes to check-out, even though all I ended up doing was delivering the room keys. Very dirty and loudly dining room. Plenty of people were there without a face mask on those COVID-19 days. Very disseminated that I chose this hotel. Will never do it again !
Nothing really, I'm so sorry.
