Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThe single bed was a little narrow! The upgrade to a pool view was not an upgrade with building waste on full view and the pool in the corner.

IsraelShabbat elevator!!! We always have to be considerate of the religious but they don't have to be considerate of us - that's just SO wrong (a huge problem in Israel in general). So we stayed close so we can climb up only one floor, but it's supposed to be the other way around - NORMAL elevator, and if you don't want to use it - YOU take the stairs.
Everything! Super kid-friendly, the pool is amazing (see property photos if you haven't already), breakfast had an insane variety - even if they offered the half, I would still say it was an insane variety. Comfortable rooms, extra activities that we didn't participate in but they sound real nice.

IsraelThe fact the in Shabat there was no service, no cleaning at all, we ask for new towels and no one has come to bring those to us, in addition the only elevator was in Shabat mode , so you have to wait ages to reach your destination.
The swimmimg pools were amazing, the breakfast was great, the room was very spacious.

IsraelThe room was very unclean, new sheets were put on the bed with visible stains on them. Also there were visible stains on the sofa, and trash under the bed that wasn't cleaned after the lasts visitors. It was clear that the room wasn't properly cleaned for a long time.
The room was spacious and the area around the hotel was very pretty.

IsraelI found it distracting when the tour guide was talking how he built the Kibutz and fought independence wars when he looks like 60 years old. Shouldn't he be like 100 to be clearly speaking like that?
The facilities are good, the area is fantastic, food really exceeded expectations but the spirit of staff is what you would expect from a Kibutz, it lacks discipline so cleaning and service was a bit lagging.

United States of AmericaPool area not clean enough - grass dirty - and pool itself very very crowded (I guess to be expected, but would have helped if it was cleaner).
I love Ramat Rachel - a bit of an oasis in a hot, urban city in the summer. Generous meals, lovely rooms, welcoming staff.

IsraelThe buffet dinner was quite disappointing in quality and variety and very expensive for what we ate... and the main reason why we weren't thrilled with our stay. (My fault for not asking the price when we walked in, but not something I would normally do as I would trust such a family hotel to have reasonable prices for children). The large floor tiles in our rooms didn't look clean, perhaps they are stains that can't be removed.
The sports facilities and the pools are very good, especially for teens. The breakfast was fine, Nice view from our windows. Convenient transportation into the city so you can leave your car parked at the hotel - no parking hassles. Most of the staff members were very nice.

IsraelWe were situated in a room that allowed us to sleep only one out of two nights. Unfortunately a large very loud youth group prevented us from getting any rest the second night. Would have been perfect if not for that. Next time, I would hope the hotel would be honest about situating us in a room with the potential for great disturbance or compensate us in some way after what happened.
Wonderful pool and garden. Good places to stroll. Excellent Buffet at meals.
