Loved the staff - very friendly & the hotel includes breakfast which is handy & does dinner - and the restaurant is fantastic! Right next door, you don’t even have to go out into the street if you don’t feel like it & you’ve had a long day, so it’s very good for those who gave big adventure activities planned in the day & just want to come back and relax in the evening. Very clean, spacious room, and has an elevator - so no worries for those with big luggage :) An extra plus - the day of my departure I had to leave very early (5.30am) to catch my flight - and couldn’t make the usual breakfast time of 8am, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that the the hotel staff had prepared a takeaway brekkie for me to take with me! So sweet and thoughtful :) Love Iceland & this hotel is the perfect stay to enjoy :)

Problems with parking the car. The staff claimed that there were no parking spaces, but from the room window I saw an empty parking space belonging to the hotel. There is no help from the staff in this matter - you have to cope on your own. I had to pay 3,000 ISK for one-day parking. The lack of hot water will last for breakfast. It was very difficult to set the temperature in the electric stove in the apartment. The water in the bathroom next to the sink is very difficult to open.

Breakfast is quite modest, but sufficient: cold meats, cheeses, bread, toast, yogurts, cereals, cucumbers, tomatoes, olives, gherkin salad, hard-boiled eggs, herrings, ketchup, mayonnaise. However, there are no scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages or other hot dishes. To drink, coffee and several types of tea. Fruit, bananas and oranges also available.

Staff seemed disinterested Room. Was too hot - no instructions on how to turn it off. I was too exhausted after a long drive to go into the other building and ask.

Hair in the shower , not cleaned properly.Some very unpleasant fauna in room/bed this put me off the room totally and would stop me from returning

Staff in the breakfast hall were quite noisy and disruptive, however I tend to eat breakfast late and they probably wanted rid of us at 10.15.

Had a great deal with booking, huge front facing room with sofa area, also free breakfast which was decent for Iceland, being continental. Location is amazing such a good price. Was clean and had everything we needed.

The room was a little cold. There was a slight stale odour of dampness from bathroom.

I stayed one night. I had a large double room for one person, very comfortable and clean. Location was excellent for picking up bus for tours and the airport. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Very good buffet breakfast, cereals, fresh fruit, cold meats, cheese, salad, pastry and breads. Excellent value, I would have no hesitation recommending this hotel or staying in this hotel again.
