We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

CanadaLocation location location!! I would highly recommend this property. Staff was excellent kind and helpful. Breakfast was delicious! We stayed 3 nights and was at the Santa Croce light festival, did a bike and bites tour which was fantastic, learned a lot about Lucca. We will be going back to stay here.

Very cozy flat. I loved to sit in balcony, and observe the area from there. Foot walk to any place of this beautifull town.

FranceDue to its location, the place was very noisy and not so sound-proofed, which made it harder for us to sleep at night. We would typically wake up around 4-5am when the city employees would start cleaning Vernazza. On top of that, the communication process was a bit hectic with the owner as we didn’t speak the same language. The instructions for both checkin and checkout weren’t clear and properly established. We ended up confused a couple of times.
The property was much nicer than we thought. Well-equipped and very convenient. Could easily fit a family of four or a group of friends.

BelgiumThe kitchen had all the necessary equipment , but there was a very limited number of plates, glasses (only 1 wine glass). You would expect enough for a family of 4 persons for 2 meals.
Very spacious apartment, walking distance from the shuttle point , train station , Vernazza center. Nice terrace.

The property is very well appointed, spacious and very close to the town. It is ideal for a stay for anyone planning a trip to Cinque Terra. Franco was an excellent host, met us at the train station and was always on hand to answer any queries and give advice about restaurants and trips to the other villages

United States of AmericaNo air conditioning, but this wasn’t a problem for us due to the time we were there (late May). Franco did provide us with a floor fan for our room, too, that helped a lot.
We loved the location-far enough away from town to get away from any noise and close enough to all the action and train station. We were able to sleep so well with the windows open, no outside noise! The size of the apartment was great-it would be perfect for a family. Washing machine worked great and clothes line-dried quickly in temperate weather. Bathroom was large and well equipped. Hair dryer included! There are lovely views outside the windows including a neighbor’s beautiful garden. We were able to quickly access the trail to the town’s cemetery one morning and we were rewarded with a beautiful view at the top. Our host, Franco, easily and quickly communicated with us from the beginning of our booking through the completion of our stay. He met us at the train station and helped carry my wife’s heavy bag to the room (there are 3 flights of stairs to climb after a quick walk from the train station). Franco manages the Gambero Rosso in Vernazza and made sure we had a fantastic dinner and experience the night we ate there. Their pesto was fantastic and the entire staff was very kind! He also provided us with two extra towels to use at local beaches-a must have in May. He was so kind and the perfect host! Franco organized a complimentary breakfast for us at The Lunchbox in Vernazza that was perfect and delicious! He also arranged for us to store our bags at his restaurant (Gambero Rosso) while we explored the town before and after check in/check out. For a quiet stay in the heart of the Cinque Terre choose Casa di Mario and it’s fabulous host, Franco!

United States of AmericaSilly, but the main thing I didn’t like was that there was no waste bin in the bathroom. Also, a little dated, but for the price, good choice.
We arrived late and did not have cell service. Lucky for us Franco was asking for us after we got off the train. We were very hungry and he showed us to the restaurant where he works, stowed our luggage and served us one of the best meals we’ve had. After he helped us with our luggage and took us to the apartment. The woman who came to clean on our last day was also very accommodating and helped take our luggage down the stairs.
