Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Nothing to improve at A Casa di Pissi. Everything is good. However, through no fault of the accomodation and our hosts, but the difficulties with accessing Ravello from the coast due to a long term road closure means getting up and down from the coast is difficult. Bus services are infrequent and long, and taxis very expensive. This affected what we had planned to do. We hope for the people of Ravello and around that these transport issues are resolved soon.
Spacious, airy and sunny. Perfect spot for relaxing and also for exploring Ravello and the Amalfi coast. Located very close to the piazza in Ravello but quiet and secluded. It was nice to step away from the busy square. Our hosts had thoughtfully considered everything we might need for our stay, including coffee, snacks, juice etc, clothes washing and provided helpful information about things to see, restaurants and transport. This was the perfect 4 night stay for us and we highly recommend it to other travellers.

The apartment doesn't have air conditioning (which we knew before arrival) but we managed with the inclusion of two fans and the shutters.
This is a lovely, affordable property to stay in Ravello. Apartments on the Amalfi coast can be very expensive so I was thrilled to get an affordable option that meet our needs perfectly. Monica is a great host and offered very good communication. The property is a comfortable size for a family of four. Monica had the sofa made up as a bed for our two children on our arrival which was great as I thought I would be wrestling with it trying to get it made into a bed. She left breakfast supplies, milk, butter etc for us which was great to save us having to find a shop straight away. The apartment is just a couple of minutes away from the main square but lovely and quiet and beautiful views over the town. Ravello is a beautiful village and was a welcome respite after a week in busy Sorrento.

A warning that taxis would not be able to reach the properties door would have been nice. The taxis drop you off a bit far and you have to walk with your bags to the property.
The hosts were friendly and answered all the questions I had.

It would be perfect if they could install air-conditioning. In any case, with fans provided, it is relatively cool.

We loved having such a big apartment in this beautiful town of Ravello. We spent the days walking everywhere and every view was breathtaking. The food in town was absolutely delicious.

floor a bit dusty, couldn’t have more than one electric item on, eg oven and washing machine.
close to everything, it had all we needed for cooking . very attentive details and breakfast provided! perhaps because it’s a holiday house, could provide cool bags for food and parasol for the beach.

Our flight was delayed to Naples airport by 3 hours. We didn't reach Ravello until 3am and our hosts were kind enough to wait and allow us access to the apartment. Everything was spotless and the apartment was a really nice size and very central in Ravello. It really is great value and you feel like you're staying in a quiet small local apartment block.

The apartment was in a fantastic location to the centre of the town. Its spacious and has everything that you need. The owners were very welcoming and left some welcome goodies. Highly recommend!
