What a hidden gem! It was truely amazing! We stayed for 2 nights at the end of our trip. Quiet, serene, absolutely wonderfull! We were the first ones they ever held a wine tasting in english and they did a great job! They took us around to see everything.

Perfect place for relaxing a few days, enjoying the beauty and silence, but then you need lunch and dinner every day, which unfortunately was not the case. No lunch was available, while dinner was served all days but Monday (unfortunately we also stayed there on Monday). A dip in the pool (even if cold water) and comfortable sunbeds would be important to enjoy the stay, but the pool was closed and no sunbeds were available. We can therefore hardly recommend the place off high season, even if the potential certainly is there.

We had a marvellous stay here. The host was incredibly welcoming and accommodating. The dinner menu was varied and everything was delicious. In the morning, waking up and opening the shutters to catch a first glimpse of the view outside was actually breathtaking. Many thanks to Antichi Grani for an exceptional stay.

Room, especially bathroom a little small and cramped. Hot water was slow to get to temperature which was tepid, not hot.

Breakfast was generous and varied; croissants, bread, cheese, meats, yogurt, sweet cakes, varied 6-8 fresh fruits, juice and espresso and capacitors. They also serve lunch and dinner from a diverse menu of salads, pasta dishes, meat—pork and beef options, other sides and deserts (but why bother if you have the cannoli?

The only thing I can suggest would be to add some background music during breakfast and restaurant hours. Not sure if it’s a cultural difference, but I’m just used to having some background noise when I eat. A very minor thing and didn’t detract from my stay.

The service was outstanding, professional, and staff were very welcoming. The location of the property is beautiful, with expansive views and fields all around. The grounds are pristine, sadly I only stayed one night and didn’t get to use the pool but it looked lovely. The breakfast was amazing as well, with a large selection of fruits, cakes, meats, and cheeses to choose from. If I ever come back to Sicilia, I would definitely go out of my way to stay again.

You need a car to get there, there are not a lot of opportunities for lunch at the near area, so you have to go by car at the next city.

Great Panorama View, spacious Agriturismo, very clean and quiet area. The homemade food in the evening and as well the homemade wine was very delicious! Totally recommend to eat there in the evening. Last but not least the owner is a very friendly and attentive host!

There was a wedding party when we arrived but luckily it ended by 7:30pm.

Up a winding hilly road that gets rougher by the km is Antichi Granai. It has amazing views over the countryside. The rooms are large and simply furnished. The provided breakfast was a generous buffet of pastries, cheese, meats, bread and fruit. Staff were attentive and friendly. A good place to bunk for 1-2 nights.

Rather expensive. Restaurant dinner menu has quite limited options.

Gorgeous sights around the hotel. Hotel grounds are very well kept. Wonderful swimming pool with excellent views all around. Excellent breakfast. Some tourist attractions, like Segesta temple, can be quickly and easily reached by car. We stayed in a room with a very nice terrace with amazing views.

I preferred the access from the south on SP12. The SP12 going north to Calatafimi was scary and Calatafimi itself was ugly.

Difficult to get there. We used the google maps and it directed us through the fields and horrendous route which in the end doesn't leads to the property itself, having information about the much easier and super comfortable way before would help)

Nice environment, we got the only room with superb terrace where you can see the whole valley. The rooms were very clean and spacious. I really liked the attention from the main waiter, he was always "there" when you need something, who has seen or read the book "I Served the King of England" will understand :-). Overall we liked the place, spent two evenings in the restaurant, it is a nice place, but unfortunately it miss some atmosphere as we were there always almost lonely. The appetizers were delicious but the main dinner meals were rather average in comparison to other amenities and services of the property. The breakfasts were superb. Overall very nice experience.
