Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

United States of AmericaN/A - wish we would have stayed longer!
This agriturismo has wonderful food, location, and host! When we arrived we were greeted with fresh figs and wine. Each dinner had antipasto, primi (pasta dish), and secondi (meat/fish dish) made with ingredients from the garden. Wine and melon liquor (digestif) were also offered with the meal. Breakfast included coffee/tea, biscotti, cheese, fresh tomatoes, figs, bread, homemade olive oil and jams. Every dish was delicious! The location was on a hillside with amazing sunset views. You are about 10 minute drive from Polizzi Generosa, a small mountainside town, and 30 minute drive from many lovely hikes. There are only three rooms available so the property is quiet. Pietro was an amazing host! His english was great, he had many wonderful suggestions for day trips, and even offered us a tour around his vegetable garden. He has two incredibly sweet dogs on the property that we loved. We cannot recommend booking this place more!

BelgiumI can’t think of anything.
The location: Off the beaten track, Cuca is nestled in the hillside with an incredible view of Polizzi Generosa and the sunset over the valley. It’s a very quiet and relaxing place to be. You definitely need a car to get here & around. The hiking: Parco delle Madonie has so many beautiful walking routes to offer, Cuca makes a great base for explorations. The meals: We’ve been served the tastiest meals of our trip here, lovingly prepared by Pietro and his mum from local and seasonal produce. We shared our meals and our stories with other guests by the big dining table, which was a truly familiar experience. The dogs: We’re the friendliest!

AustraliaBe aware that weather conditions in the hills can make wifi uncertain.
Lovely country surrounding in simple accommodation, with clean mountain air, healthy organic food, a good breakfast and excellent Sicilian cuisine on offer for an evening meal by Pietro’s delightful mother. Pietro was helpful and knowledgeable about most things, including directions and short cuts. (We were glad of our smaller car for the hilltop towns.) We enjoyed the relaxed company of other guests at the tables under the ancient mulberry tree. It was a good location for travel in a number of directions, and other guests did some good hiking in the area as well.

NetherlandsEverything was perfect.
Wonderfull place with the most welcoming hosts that I have ever experienced. On arrival we were welcomed with espresso an fruits from the garden. Fresh flowers gave our room a nice smell. Located just a few Km outside Polizzi Generosa it is a great location from which to explore the Madonie area. The accomodation is very easy to reach from the main road. Pietro gave us good advice on hikes to make and places to visit. He and his brother told us a lot of interesting things about the history, geology, flora and fauna of the Madonie and Sicily. The breakfast and dinner were delicious, prepared with homegrown vegetables and fruits. The apartment consisted of 2 spacious rooms, that were very clean and cool in the september heat (over 30 degrees Celsius) a comfortable bathroom and a small kitchen. Nice garden overlooking the valley. Only 4 rooms/units, so it is a nicely small scale and quiet. Great atmosphere to relax. If I return to Sicily I would definitely stay there again.

AustraliaGiuseppe and his family are very kind and welcoming, the property is picturesque, we were able to spend one evening having a home cooked meal which was beautiful, eating under the maple tree, very peaceful and relaxing. The accommodation has everything you need for an extended stay, and you are a short drive away from town for any supplies. Giuseppe was very helpful with local recommendations, restaurants and attractions, he also went above and beyond to help us when our little one needed to see a doctor.

CanadaAgriturismo Cuca was a highlight of our trip. An incredibly beautiful settings with perfect accommodations. Pietro and his mother were welcoming and kind. We loved spending time there and wish we had stayed longer than 2-nights. Pietro pointed us towards an amazing hike- we were the only people on the trail and then to an incredible swimming spot under an ancient bridge. We ate dinner at Cuca one night and the meal that was lovingly prepared by Pietro's mom was one of the best we had during our trip in Italy.

The beautiful farm house was up in the mountains away from it all. There is a nice town 10 minutes away. The best part was Pietro and his Mom. We felt like we were staying with family and the home cooked 4 course dinners and breakfasts were delicious. There is great hiking in the Madonie Park. It’s a peaceful place to get away from it all and be in nature.

United KingdomThe property is tricky to find and could do with a sign on the gate and better directions , such as a mention of the mirrors at the turning to the property.
A lovely agri-turismo place run by a delightful friendly family (and supervised by their two laid-back dogs!)I would highly recommend a stay here. Stunning views from the terraced garden of the nearby hill town of Polizzi Generosa and over the mountainous countryside. We particularly enjoyed the delicious home- cooked dinners made with ingredients from the farm or produced locally, and meeting guests from other countries at breakfast and dinner.

United KingdomEmanuele looked after us like we were long lost family. It was a privilege to meet him and his girlfriend Elena. Emanuele and his mother Cetta prepared the most delicious breakfasts and dinners, much of it their own produce from their land. We felt very much at home and found Cuca to be a perfect place from which to explore the Parco Madonie and Polizi Generosa. Emanuele’s knowledge of the ecology/geography/biology/history of the area was impressive and we enjoyed learning from him. We will very much hope to be back.
