Really beautiful quiet farmhouse away from the city centre. Be prepared to have to drive here and have a car and stock up on groceries as there’s nothing within 15 minutes drive.

The way they effortlessly catered to our needs and ensured that we felt right at home was remarkable. A special mention must be reserved for the shining star of Tenuta Badessa, Elisabetta. She is a beacon of positivity and care, a true ray of sunshine. Her dedication to our well-being was heartwarming, and her genuine concern for our comfort and enjoyment was evident in every interaction. Elisabetta’s presence truly elevated our experience, and her warm smile brightened even the sunniest of Puglian days. The accommodations and amenities provided by the owner were impeccable. Our cozy and comfortable room was a perfect retreat after a day of exploring the stunning surroundings. Lovely comfortable and peaceful stay just a 5 minute drive to the sea. Rooms, pool, garden all of a high standard. Restaurant on site- open every evening and very popular with locals and tourists. Hostess, proprietors and housekeeping very helpful and accommodating. Nunu (the resident dog) and his little sidekick very friendly and inobtrusive.

Betta was so service minded and helped out at any time with different requests. Francesca as well was caring and service minded. My 3 year old loved the pool and we all enjoyed the restaurant there. We would love to come back.

NetherlandsWhen we were there (in October, off-season) the whole place was closed, so no restaurant and almost no one in the building. The kitchen in the apartment was barely minimal, with just a few pans and pots, a "coffee machine" that was a dirty and broken moka and without even a proper knife. Also the wifi stopped working during our stay.
It's a nice place, quiet and far from the city. The apartment itself had two separate bedrooms and own outside area with a table, so it was a good place to stay with a family

CanadaUpon arrival, the bed and pillows reeked of sweat and body odor. When I brought this to the attention of the staff, I was told about the laundry cleaning process, which was fine, but the mattress & pillows themselves stunk of someone else's sweat. It was disgusting and hard to stomach. Had we not already paid for the property we would have found somewhere else. We were staying at the property for 1 week and when we arrived there was 1 toilet paper roll provided. We asked for a second which was provided but when we asked for more we were told we had to buy our own. This is fine, but guests should be made aware of this requirement upon check-in, not 4-days into the stay. We were also told 4-days into our stay, that we had to buy our own garbage bags if we wanted to empty the garbage in the apartment. Again, another thing that would have been nice to know upon check-in. I asked the staff for a towel refresh halfway through our stay and my request went unanswered/no response. So we had the same towels for the whole week. We also asked the staff about sampling the olive oil or purchasing some olive oil from the farm - again, our request went unanswered. Although the property itself is very peaceful, I've never been on a piece of land with so many flies. They were everywhere. I could maybe see this on a farm with animals & maneur but there were no animals on this farm. Overall I was extremely disappointed with our experience at this property, feel we overpaid for our stay, and would not recommend this property.
The restaurant on the property, which is privately owned, was fantastic.
