Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustriaWould recommend it
Very comfortable bed. The room is very nice, very silent and like in the nature - as long as there are not too many other guests. It’s located directly between lemon trees.

United KingdomThe room smelt a little damp as they are built into the hillside but we were able to keep the windows open, as they had built in mosquito screens, and this kept the air flowing.
Beautiful setting, wonderful food, it’s our second time here and I would return again. Having breakfast under a canopy of lemon trees is truly magical. The location is fabulous, a short walk down the hill is the port which had a lovely swimming area along the seafront causeway, then up the hill is Masa Lubrense centre with a larger selection of restaurants and pasticcerias, great for morning coffee and cake before heading out on one of the many walks in the area.

United KingdomIts not the owners fault but there is virtually no transport links to the main village so it was a little isolated
The surroundings were very nice. Lemon and Olive trees all around.

SwedenI didn't like the location.. if you're looking to go out for drinks with friends, do boat tours and for example go to Positano or visit any nice beaches, I wouldn't recommend staying here because nothing is walking distance. Just even to reach an ATM or a little food store you had to go to the main town which was a 20 minute walk UPHILL.
I really liked how our room had its own big balcony facing the mountains. It was lovely to sit out there in the mornings. I also really liked the breakfast buffet and that it was included in the price. it was also amazing that this place had their own locally sourced vineyards, lemon garden, and olive oils that they sold at a good price point. it was also well staffed and there was always someone who could help you out with trips, if you had bugs in your room or other amenity related questions

NetherlandsThe shower was a little on the small side and the doors didn't close properly so many time it was wet in front of the shower. There weren't any places for use to hang our towels to dry except over the handrailing.
Had a beautiful room overlooking the lemon grove onto the ocean. Dinner was offered at an additional cost per person but consisted out of a starter, pasta, main and desert. A lot is locally produced by the people that own and run La Lobra.

A highlight of our 2 week trip to many places! This property is gorgeous, the location is so peaceful, the accommodations were extremely comfortable and picturesque, and the staff couldn't have been better - they made you feel right at home, like one of the family. A true gem!

LatviaWE LIKED EVERYTHING! Actually, LOVED IT! The best place during our week when we travelled from Naples down to Camerota. It is a place held by an Italian family. The welcoming was amazing - their family member helped to bring our bags up the hill to our apartment. During that walk, you are going through a lemon field and feel like in a different world. We asked for a dinner and it was more than we expected. They offer their own olive oil, lemon pasta, lemon cake (10/10) and vine. Amazing. Breakfast was also really good. I can't say nothing bad about this place because it was more than we where hoping for even before our trip!

United States of AmericaDrive from Sorrento is very slow and winding so the property was not a great jumping off point for day trips. The drive is beautiful, however.

AustraliaPersonally would have liked to have the ability to make a cup of tea in the room.
This lovely spot amongst the lemon orchards represents Italian culture at its best. The lovely rural outlook from the windows and balcony the fabulous breakfast and dinner in the outdoor setting amongst the lemon trees were lovely. Local restaurants were within walking distance on the foreshore overlooking the boats in the marina.

SloveniaIf you are looking for a charming and super authentic place, this is it! We could only stay for a day, but it was incredible. Hundreds of lemon trees on the property and beautifully maintained vegetable gardens. Our dog just wanted to stay forever :) Lovely and welcoming hosts, delicious food prepared with care. As good as it gets really, we will definitely visit again for a longer time.

IsraelThe rooms are located in a family farm between the olive and lemon trees. Hospitality was perfect. We also enjoyed the local dinner cooked by the Mama :) It is close to Sorrento and Just few minutes walk from the local peer from which you can go on the boat line cruise to Amalfi, Positano, and so on.

AustraliaI would have liked to have been able to have an aperol spritz before dinner. La Lobra is located quite far down a steep hill so to get to the bus stop into Massa was a work ot. Conversely this meant that I was closer to the port with a bar with a beautiful view over Capri.
I loved that I didn't have to think about going out for dinner. Everything was there and I was well looked after. If anything there was probably too much food! It was a genuine Italian experience.

United States of AmericaMy wife & I are 64 years old and beginning to feel our years. Despite multiple past visits to the SW Italian coastal areas, the extent of climbing necessary stairs to reach the main building surprised me -- and missing that detail was my fault. Initially roomed in the top-most (and charming) lodge required another 4 flight climb (ramps or steps) -- and when I inquired about relocating to a room with fewer steps to climb, Tullio came through with a gracious accommodation. Problem promptly & courteously solved.
The breakfast variety was honestly excellent -- from pictures posted by the hotel, I had looked forward to it before leaving the USA, and it did not disappoint in any way (by the way, even their house coffee was exceptional)! The setting of the extended hotel & farming property, and especially the exquisite dining palazzo & relaxing area set amongst the fruit trees, were also very lovely. The charm of the various buildings was enhanced by their authenticity and back-story.
