The cozy appartement and relaxing atmosphere of the property

The pool area and garden were not available to us on 2 of the 4 days we were there due to other private functions. The room had no windows, or outside light, making it difficult at night.

Our room was (I think ) an old store building, converted to a bedroom with en'suite & access to the roof. Also a private terrace. But nicely done. Breakfast was excellent, but a distance from our room.

They hold huge parties (every Saturday maybe?) that they don’t tell you about. The music was extremely loud and it carried on until after midnight. I troupe be nice to know this before hand so that we could have made other arrangements.

The authenticity and pool

Unfortunately, the entire property lost it’s appeal because it’s not very well maintained. The pictures look nice and with little care everything could be as nice as it looks on the photos: weed should be removed, the pool area should be cleaned. Also our apartment wasn’t clean (full ash tray on the terrace, ants in the living room). Overall, the hotel does not live up to the high standards on the pictures and the high standards for the high price. It’s not worth the price. Be also aware that the superior apartment is 300 m away from the main property and the pool.

The hotel is located in the middle of olive and almond plantations. It’s very quite and the property large and it’s overall something special. The breakfast was, especially for Italian standards, very good. Also the regional dinner was quite nice.

Would have been great if Lunch could have been offered by the beautiful pool. There was a party held by our room until 1am one night- it would have been expected that we were notified of this well before our arrival.

Breakfast could be a bit earlier, 8 o’clock is a bit too late and I would say they were a bit slow serving the coffee. Air conditioning did not work and the Wi-Fi very slow

Very nice and quiet place with a small swiming pool all serrunded with plants . We arrived about 10 p.m. and still could have a good dinner. They have vegetables from their own garden. Big and varios breakfast. Interested room with old kitchen.

It might have been our room choice (standard quad) but it was very basic and fairly old (although very clean). For the same price we stayed at other Masseria in the area that were far more luxurious, larger rooms, better service etc. The restaurant is clearly a favourite for locals. We were seated away from the locals at dinner (along with other foreign guests) despite having pre booked our dinner they claimed to not have our reservation hence had to sit inside. However when Italian guests arrived they lifted tables outdoors to accommodate them in the garden. We were not made to feel welcome. Dinner was also very slow.

They advertise having a sauna and jacuzzi but wasn’t usable while there. A few steps to climb if you are at the top floor but we found a short cut to get down more easily. it would be nice if they would announce the party that they host over weekend sometime.

A charming place , spacious and nicely decorated, surrounded by cherry orchards and lovely Puglian countryside feel. Conveniently located to reach all the tourists attractions. breakfast was good , Lucreatzia was making delicious cakes every morning.

The mosquitoes!

lost in the olives field, the Masseria is a charming big house with a beautiful swimming pool. It is well located if you want to explore Monopoli, Polignano and Alberobello. You just need a car! super nice staff, very attentive.
