Really good rooms (spacious, clean, and fresh, with good sized balcony), great views all around, wonderful food, and a lovely family. A nice location, too, to walk around or to explore from.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Belvedere hotel. The staff was extremely kind, the bedroom was quite spacious and very clean and the view is magnificent. Both the breakfast and the meals at the restaurant were excellent, I highly recommend and will return.

Parking situation was challenging. The lot fills up with restaurant diners and there can be no place for guests to park. Lots of steps to get up to the building

Ranco is a small town with not much happening. It has a laid back feeling. We did find a fabulous place called “ Rocca di Angera” nearby which was a fabulous medieval fortress and gardens with an amazing toy museum. Well worth the visit.

I hope they can solve the wifi issue, I am sure they trying to give better wifi services to their customer/guests, but I had my own line for internet as all people have, so the wifi it is not issue to talk about.

I like all things, starting with amazing location and view, very freind and kind staff, food as well it was great, testy, the room also was very clean and quiet for sleeping !

Great location with lovely views of the lake. Lovely and quiet with the necessary amenities. Food and wine was delicious, the family were welcoming and accommodating, would recommend!

It didn't bother us at all, but during dinner hours there was some noise from the restaurant as everyone was sitting outside and dining just below our balcony.

What a great little spot! Ranco is a very small quiet place with only a couple restaurants, one of which belongs to the hotel. We didn't eat there except for breakfast, which was lovely. We especially welcomed having fruit and savoury options on the buffet after traveling in Italy and often getting mostly sweet foods. The room (with 'limited' lake view) was cozy, very clean and the bed was huge and comfy. The balcony was lovely to have though quite small, which I think would be different in the other, slightly pricier rooms. We really enjoyed our picnic at the waterfront park a few steps away, and option to check out a bit later than we were used to. There were lots of towels and such available, as well as coffee, tea and a minibar in the room. Would certainly come back and recommend this quiet spot. Could be an awesome starting point for Lago Maggiore explorations if you want to stay away from any tourist crowds.

The location is stunning! Very peaceful and quiet location. Hotel restaurant was good, but very busy. The pool area was lovely. A small shop is 2 minute walk away and there is a restaurant and bar next to the lake. Parking was safe and secure for our party of 9 motorbikes.

Breakfast was excellent and location was great. As always our Belvedere visit was outstanding!! The are very comfortable and the family owners and staff go out of their way to make one’s visit special. Food is outstanding.

All of it was excellent. In fact, I may have eaten too much both at breakfast and at dinner. Back to the diet then. The staff all spoke English to us, were very very helpful, nothing was too much trouble, and everything was done with a smile.

Because the room has no radiator (other than in the bathroom), this means that the A/C must be switched on permanently to keep the room warm over the night, which can be a bit annoying from the noise perspective. Perhaps more silent fans to the A/C unit could be installed.

The room was very pleasant, clean, and tastefully designed, with a cozy feeling. The balcony provided a direct view over the hotel's swimming pool and terrace/restaurant, as well as the lake Maggiore. The bathroom was as well very large, fitted with everything one would need. The breakfast was plentiful, with a good variety of local cheese and ham, milk, jams, etc. It lacked a bit in terms of warm food options, but it's a minor detail.

We loved its lovely quite location close enough to the action but peacefully apart. We loved the gracious owners and they attentive staff. The hotel also has an excellent restaurant.

The one extra thing that would have been nice was a private balcony, some of the other rooms come with balconies. But since there are many communal areas to sit this was not a big deal.

We had the room with hot tub, which was just under the roof. That made it very cosy, and also quiet. Thanks to the air con it was also nice and cool. The restaurant / breakfast area had a lovely view, there were plenty of other places to sit and enjoy the view and the pool area was nice and clean. The staff were exceptional, helping us arrange things (e.g. boat rental only 5 minutes walk from the hotel). The location is lovely, right on the lake, with a couple of bars / restaurants within walking distance or a short drive away.
