Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

IsraelZTL, but it was solved by the host.
Nice clean room in the city center. Mauricio is a great host, very helpful and informative, with his help everything was very easy and smooth. Italian breakfast in the bar on the central square was delicious. Highly recommend this B&B.

United KingdomFor people with mobility issues it is on the second floor with no lift.
The decor was lovely, especially the ceiling of our room. The bathroom and shower were excellent. It was a very central location giving easy access to the numerous things to explore in Arezzo, not least the spectacular frescos by Pierra della Francesco . Arezzo is a charming and picturesque place to visit.

BelgiumNothing really. There is no breakfast at the property (you get a voucher for a bar nearby) but this is a legal matter, not something the host can do anything about.
Very helpful host. Maurizio picked us up at a parking outside the limited access zone, late in the evening on top. He was very helpful, phoning a restaurant to see whether they were still hoping, giving us tips for other restaurants, for things to visit etc. The B&B had a nice common area with coffee machine. There was also tea etc in the room. A nice building, very well situated in the centre of town. The town is really lovely. I am looking forward to coming back!

United States of AmericaIt's not a dislike, but the lodging is up 2 flights of stairs. This may matter to some people.

FinlandMaurizio, the B&B host, is wonderful! The location also could not be better- right in the center with wonderful restaurants in just minutes (or less!). The B&B room had air conditioning too which was great in the July heat.

United States of AmericaEverything was fabulous. Our host arrived just minutes after we did. We locked our bikes in the lobby. The B&B common area was huge (as was our room/bathroom). He gave me a map and pointed out points of interest as well as recommendations for restaurants. We had a refrigerator and kettle in our room and could use the espresso maker in the common area. Breakfast at a local bar was included and excellent. The location was awesome - just a block from the main Piazza. We only wish we could have stayed longer.

Lovely location in the lovely city of Arezzo. Maurizio is a very nice host who will give you a great history lesson of the city on arrival which will give more context to the beautiful things Arezzo has to offer. He will also provide tickets to get breakfast in a nearby bar. There are a few very good restaurants just outside the b&b across the street.

United States of AmericaI thought I was having a breakfast at the B and B. That was not the case. I had to go elsewhere. Also, as a solo traveler I did not like being in a floor all by myself. I was the only one in the B and B. The owner lived elsewhere.
The attentiveness of the owner. Maurizio picked me up at the train station and connected me with an excellent tour guide. If I was traveling with my family this place would have been very nice. Excellent location.

GermanyThe accommodation is located in the historic center of Arezzo, where parking is not possible. But the host provided information about where to find (free) parking and even picked us up from the parking lot (about 700 m away). For breakfast (which was not possible on site because of corona regulations) we received a voucher for a bar nearby.

Position in the city centre, comfort, kindness of the host. If you come by car and as the place is in a traffic-restricted area, Maurizio will pick you up or guide through the streets. Just call him in advance.
