Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

PolandI like to rent apartments like this one when I see availability. It is located in an old building and has maybe a 1950s interior, so it feels more Italian than many new fancy apartments. The apartment itself is huge, situated on two floors with a separate entrance. There's a kitchen in the apartment, two queen-size beds on separate floors, and it is very clean. It was easy to check in and out; breakfast was served right in the yard by the entrance by a very friendly lady. Free public parking with a lot of free spots is just across the road. Close to the restaurants and marina. I was happy to find this gem in Licata.

GermanyGenuinely nothing!
The room was beautiful and well equipped, the host was very sweet and welcoming and the location was convenient (in the historical center close to the harbour). The hotel is assembled around a beautiful and calm little square and breakfast is served in the middle of it - surrounded by old italian houses. I would definitely recommend a stay there, we had a great time!

SlovakiaTown square was very loud in the evening, many people making noise, it was hard to fall asleep.
Very traditional and "old time" experience. Wonderful place, we felt like Italians, sipping coffee on this cosy, almost private town square. Room was very antique, but had all we needed. Very charming.

HungaryOne of the most unique room I have ever rented. When I step out of it, I am in the middle of a beautiful little square. My wonderful breakfast was served here as well. It is just a few minutes from the coast and the centre, there are plenty of restaurants and bars in the near.

Czech RepublicThe water in the tap is not drinkable, but there were some small bottles of water in the minifridge. The staff doesn´t speak a very good English (apart of the owner), but you will manage. The owner´s family live in the same building and they have to go past your door (since the room is in the 1st floor) so later in the evening it was a bit noisy.
Clean room with a view to small square.

SingaporeExcellent location, easy to reach the beach, the historic centre and the bus station. The room was beautiful and spotlessly clean, lots of character and very much appreciated the air conditioning and shutters to keep the room cool. The owner Lavinia was amazing, she was available to answer any questions that I had. The breakfast in the beautiful piazza was fantastic, Tonino was very attentive and kind and offered a huge selection of pastries, fruit, cold meats and cheese and drinks. A wonderful stay!

PolandThere was nothing I didn't like.
That's a very great place to stay in Licata. It's located in a beautiful historic square very close to the Marianello beach in Licata (maybe 8min walking), close to the center, ice cream shop and all of the great places to eat around. The owner is super nice, doesn't treat you like a client, more like a part of the family straight up. Amazing staff, great atmosphere. It's super clean and just very very enjoyable.
