Vincenzo (the host/owner) is very welcoming, helpful, communicative (fast responses) and the accommodation is very close to the historical city center. The area was also quiet at night so you get relatively good sleep compared to other parts of the city.

Excellent location in beautiful building. Very lively neighborhood in the very center of Palermo. Spacious apartment with very good furnishing. Vincenzo made sure that we were comfortable and found our way. As I wrote before, this is a very lively neighborhood. You will hear the sounds of Sicily on the street while staying here, but don’t let that discourage you: It’s impossible to stay in the center of Palermo expecting otherwise.

Extremely comfortable, well equipped apartment right in the heart of the historic district. Easy walking distance to everything you will want to see in Palermo. Host is very responsive. Met us at the apartment to give us the keys, an overview of the apartment and provided very helpful tourist information. We would definitely book here again.

Marvellous location. Could walk to all the places. Huge apartment. Modern and beautiful. All facilities Great meeting with host - efficient, helpful, lots of information, available any time Vincenzo even printed some online admission tickets for us and delivered them on a Sunday afternoon. Kept luggage for us.

I realised this apartment was in a ZTL after I'd booked it (we were travelling by car). Before I could worry Vincenzo, contacted me. He organised passes for each day of our stay, met us on arrival in Palermo, showed us where to park for free. All worth it because the apartment was close to all the historical sights. Fantastic food market practically on the doorstep, restaurants and bars around the corner. Apartment was clean and comfortable with all we needed. Thank you Vincenzo.

Air conditioner could have been less nosier. It was sometimes hard to sleep at night.

It was within walking distance (5-6 mins) from the centre of Palermo. Didn’t need a car to get around which was very convenient.

Everything was perfect!

Vincenzo the owner was really nice and kind. He gave us some tips where to go to eat and what to visit. His apartment was perfect, very clean, new and had a well equipped kitchenette. He helped us with the ZTL parking ticket that you have to pay if you are driving in Palermo centre. The apartment is in the city center and the famous markets and buildings are very close by walk. He replied to our messages very quickly every time that we asked him for something and waited for us to do a late check in. At the end of our stay he let us to stay longer than the original check-out time (such a nice birthday gift). He exceeded our expectation. Great host keep in touch...

Amazing location! everything you’ll want to visit in Palermo is within walking distance from the apartment. Mondello Beach is also only a short bus ride away. The apartment is very clean and a great size with all the amenities you’ll need. Both the bed and sofa bed are comfortable. The host Vincenzo is extremely helpful and not only answered any questions we had before our trip but was also available over WhatsApp if we needed anything. He gave us great recommendations for places to eat and visit, possibly the most attentive host I’ve ever had.

A minor problem with water drain in the shower. But it was solved as soon as we contacted Vincenzo. Vincenzo reacts very rapidly and helps if necessary.

I specially liked the excellent service and assistance from the host, Mr. Vincenzo. He had prepared the apartment very well and gave us valuable information upon our arrival. And before our trip to Palermo he kindly answered all my questions by WhatsApp. The apartment is spatial enough and comfortable. It is close to the main Emanuele street and to the ancient Ballaro market. On our arrival, Vincenzo kindly met us on the half way to the apartment, which we appreciate a lot. He is very friendly and professional. I would love to come back to Vincenzo's Antica Palermo.

The Aircon unit was extremely loud. the road outside was noisy (there was a dog that kept barking). It sometimes felt a bit unsafe coming back in the night as you have to walk down a few dark narrow streets/alleyways
