Air condicioner did not work, we had to open Windows and could not sleep due to many mosquitos.

I was fortunate in that I had an apartment facing the back of the building as the area was noisy at night so I would advise travellers to request a similar apartment. The next door apartment had an interconnecting door (locked) so I did hear conversations from the next apartment

I loved the area that the apartment was located and the fact that it was a little out of the centre. The facilities were clean and comfortable and as the weather was hot, I really appreciated the air conditioning! Cooking facilities were fine and I felt safe there

A few inconveniences were there was no possibility for self check-in and no luggage storage facility. We asked for double bed but got two singles. Wobbly chairs and table in the dinning area. Only one towel each for a 3 day stay, not even a spare hand towel. Guy who checked us in did not have change for the city tax, we had to go exchange money ourselves. They also ask to take out bins at the end of your stay but don't give detailed information where the bins outside are (luckily in our case a lovely housekeeping lady said she will bring them out for us). The biggest issue however was probably communication with the host who was almost completely unresponsive! Out of 4 messages I sent prior/during/ after our stay I received a reply to 1 and it didn't even answer my question. We had a bit of trouble finding the apartment, when we called, the host seemed annoyed and more concerned to correct our Italian than to tell us where to go. Unfortunately his behaviour had massive impact on our overall satisfaction.

Apartment itself is lovely. Very spacious and spotless clean, nicely decorated and has all the basic inventory you may need during a short stay. Location was also great, close to shops and restaurants and walking distance to all the Florence attractions. Due to such central location it did get quite noisy at night though.

The system of numbering on the houses is a bit confusing and it took us some time to understand that we first came to the wrong address.

The location of the apartments is perfect. It takes a couple of minutes to get to the historical centre of Florence. The neighborhood is wonderful with lots of cafes and stores around. Our room was spacious equipped with a kitchen. Our windows overlooked the church and the square in front of us. Our AC stopped working one day and the owners reacted to our request and fixed it.

A little tricky to find, Florence has a double number system which google doesn't know about, some trouble getting our deposit returned which was resolved, but a bit of a hassle. Kitchen could have had a few more dishes. Not a quiet space, but if you're a sound sleeper, the lively piazza makes it more than worthwhile.

Amazing space, perfect location overlooking a lively piazza. Next door to mercato for fresh food, close to all kinds of resaraunts and shops. Very near to all the major sights, but watching the life of the square from morning to night was just as entertaining.

Loved the stay. Location is great. Can get a bit noisy if you are sensitive to noise specially at night. But great place to stay if you want to explore the historical city. Walking distance to all main attractions.

Bad smell throughout apartment when we arrived, especially strong in the bathroom. Property uses an electronic key system where you open the door via the internet, however both wifi & mobile data connection were very bad on the street so we often couldn’t get inside until another resident of the building happened to open the front door - very inconvenient, & possibly dangerous.

Walking distance from everything in Florence city centre. Spacious apartment which was a nice change for us as backpackers. Kitchen well equipped to be able to cook many types of meals.

Treatment by owner was rude. Communication that this place is keyless and wifi is mandatory in order to access the building and apartment and floor was not communicated and needs to be. Also when in need of assistance l was treated poorly. The conversation via WhatsApp is proof of that.

A kind stranger had to let me in and inform me that l had to pay the taxes before receiving the link to get into the building and my room. It was very onconvient because l did not always have wifi nor was l informed of this by anyone prior to my arrival. I was treated rudely by the owner. When asking for help after my painting was stolen out of my room, he accused me of wanting a refund. Housekeeping had access to my room and cleaned it weekly but he says they never saw it. I would not recommend staying there. Security is horrible.

I didnt gt my room deposit back yet. It been 10 day ago that I left on the 17th april. He said in one week now it late. I want my $100 room despsote back. I had to paya $11 a day city tax too. I thoughtg it was high. I bedroom was up a scary tight stari case that bothered me and the bed was hard. booking is helping me to get my deposte back else Ill file a bacnk claim with my bsnk .

I had my privacy and was able to cook an save a lot of money. i cooked on almost every night.

The biggest issue that I had was that the owner's lied about the location and details of the apartment on booking.com. I specifically booked an apartment with air conditioning, and when we arrived, we were told that our apartment didn't have it and the details were wrong on booking.com. It was 33 degrees Celsius. When I called the person who brought us to the apartment to ask about it, he simply said, "Don't worry, it will cool down at night.". It did not. We had one fan for the WHOLE apartment to use during the day and at night to keep cool. Most rooms in the apartment were unusable because of the sweltering heat. On top of this, the contact for the apartment changed the address we were staying at the morning of the day we arrived. Although we were closer to the tourist attractions, we were unsure why we were not in the place that we booked and we were not given an explanation. The apartment looked NOTHING like the pictures. We were expected to give a 100 euro deposit upon arrival, which was not mentioned in the booking, and I read in past reviews that several people had difficulty getting it back. I was able to get mine back with no issues. When someone came to inspect our apartment the day we were leaving, we were asked to take our own garbage out. Overall, our stay was frustrating, hot and uncomfortable. I would not recommend staying here and would not stay again.

The bed was comfy, the location was good and the apartment was clean.

Communication with the host was a bit difficult. I sent a message in advance to announce when we would arrive (at the exact check-in time that is written in the booking), but noone was at the apartment. After I called the contact someone came over witht he keys very quickly. At check-in you have to pay a security deposit of 100€, which I never had at any apartment before and did not find very trustworthy, but we received the deposit back on the next day after check-out. The apartment is located close to some restaurants, but there are also some bars right below that are busy until 2 or 3 in the morning. As the windows hold off hardly any sound, it was very loud in the apartment until the bars closed. So if you are not part of the bar-crowd this can be annoying. I'm a heavy sleeper, but if you are not, you might not be able to sleep half the night.

The apartment was very clean an quite central, so everything can be done by walking.

1. Didn’t get the refund of 100€ deposit!!! It was obligatory to pay it only by card and we didn’t get the normal explanation what for is it. Than we had to throw away our own garbage because it was one of the reasons why they don’t give deposit back, so all the time of stay we were afraid of doing something else wrong. I have a feeling that it is a FRAUD and I’m extremely disappointed. 2. The kitchen wasn’t equipped with basics like salt, oil, tea/coffee etc. No wine glasses. 3. At the bathroom were only 1 small soap and tiny shower gel/shampoo for 3! people for 2! nights. 4. It’s ridiculous that they charge 100€ for late check-in, but owner generously agreed to wait 1 hour for free. 5. EXTREMELY noisy street at the night. It is almost unreal to fall asleep between 22 pm-03 am.

The place was oldish so we could hear everything from next door. Last thing is that the door to enter the appartments was difficult to open. It would be great if it would be explained to the new comers how to open it (we spent 30min the first time trying to open it up).

The location is really great! The appartment was super clean. They provide the first necessities such as towels or hair dryer. Very warm (maybe a little too much). We also asked to leave our luggage before the checking ime and we could even enter the appartment earlier 😊
