Easy late check-in. Due to circumstances we weren't able to check-in on time. The hotel staff called us and provided us the ability to check-in ourselves with the use of a locker. We arrived very late, but had a lovely, big room. Unfortunately no balcony, but magnificent view on the lake. Staff was also very helpful for gluten-free breakfast. We were here only for a lay-over, but would've wanted to stay longer next time to explore the beautiful area more.

No breakfast option in hotel but adequate provision in local bar, about 10 mins walk away. Quite a lot of noise from street and other residents in the night.

Location in Pallanza is excellent and access to Intra by ferry or foot is good

Lovely view, even from the second floor. Noises from the street are there always but that was no problem with us. And our baby slept well there too. Very helpfull staff. Pizzerias and restaurants very close and grocery store 5 min walk. No private parking but we managed to find free parking from the streets.

View is breathtaking from the balcony. Very nice staff and really helpful, and there are a couple of restrooms downstairs, so even a drinking evening is pleased.

The listing for our room was a little misleading - it showed a desk in the photos and in the description, but we had a small bureau-style thingy instead (not very comfortable if you plan to do some work in your room) and no armchair as in the photos. The music from a nearby bar was very loud on the weekend - luckily, it all shuts down at midnight so not a big deal for us. Breakfast was served at a cafe about 100 meters away. It was good but not exactly at the hotel so I wouldn't list that as "breakfast available" as it's neither included nor much different than just getting breakfast at any other café.

Great location and we were able to find a free parking spot on all days we were there. Great views if you get a room with a lake view (we didn't). The staff at the reception was friendly and helpful. The room was clean, and everything worked as expected.

Breakfast was ok, nothing fancy. We do understand that due to Covid-19 some precautions needs to be taken but the very same menu every day is not very appealing for travelers staying many nights. Beds and pillows were not the most comfy but acceptable for a short stay.

Location is very good, close to the ferry stop and restaurants. The lake view from our room was also quite nice. The room was very clean. Staff was very friendly and easily approachable. Hotel decoration is a bit outdated but the place was well maintained overall.

WiFi was not working durig our stay, as the reception desk claim due to a local problem in Verbania (however our mobile internet was interrupted...). Staff was okay, but not super helpful or friendly, somehow I had the feeling I am not welcomed with my questions when I raised them. Breakfast is overpriced, you would be better off with other options in town (just like the Lake bar/caffee next to the hotel). Room was overpriced to its level, you find 4-star superior deco hotel in Barcelona for cheaper than this 3-star hotel, but I guess it's just this location...

The property was clean, the room was big enough and the bathroom was well equipped. Late checkin was possible, which was a big help for us. Location is very good, either just for a walk in town or trips around the lake with a car. Free parking is possible nearby, but you might need to do some rounds to find a free spot.

Charming! Very nice classical style hotel, the team is taking care of the historical furniture and building. The room is spacious and beautiful. There is a small bookshelf with literature in different languages if you take a stairs. Breakfast was correct, the view on the lake is fantastic. Everything went very smoothly!

It was a sweltering heat wave, but they said they couldn't turn on the air conditioning. My booking said it includes air conditioning. They gave us a fan instead but even the fan has limitations when it is 32 degrees outside. The TV had only Italian channels but the Wi-Fi was too weak even to use our chromecast. The signal was on and off.

The blond young lady at the desk, she was very polite and gentle. The location is fantastic.
