Little variation in breakfast could help. I was really looking forward to eat in the hotel restaurant, but it was fully booked for next 3-4 months. :) No single seat available. Could be nice to have at least some option for the hotel guests.

Breakfast is decent, great selection of deserts. Rooms are good and cosy, depending of the side you are there is no noise or some noise, especially those room directly above restaurant. Location is best one can have in Rubiera. I am happy, I was in this hotel for 4th time this time.

Not much really. There were no European power points in the room. Only the Italian style plugs. We were unlucky to stay when the restaurant was closed but we were really looking forward to it. This was our mistake.

The staff and location were great. We had a comfortable stay and really enjoyed the breakfast.

Bathroom was a bit dated but still clean and comfortable. Noise from other guests carried thru walls a bit too easily.

Great restaurant — really wonderful dinner and excellent breakfast. Rubiera is a very nice little town. Centralized with easy access to areas around Modena and Bologna. Beautiful old hotel with years of charm and character.

The only downside was the staff. Our room key did not work at 11:45. When we mentioned this to the reception, we were (in a grumpy way) told that we were ‘too late’. This was strange as the checkout time was 12:00. Apart from this minor thing, we can highly recommend this hotel

The reception staff could have been more helpful!

Lovely hotel in centre of a small town - easy access to and from the autostrada. The room was a bit dated, but was clean and quiet. The bathroom was small but adequate for 1 night. Breakfast was ample and varied, with lots of choice.

If you like these old style hotels, with analog phones to call the reception, with tranquil room colors and with very comfortable beds as I do, this hotel is for you. As a bonus comes also the excellent breakfast from their Michelin restaurant. There is a possibility to park the car nearby.

Getting to it was a little challenging as there was a fair on the square outside so parking was also very difficult until late evening.

I have nothing to complain!

I will start with the kindness of the girl (excellent English) at the front desk that helped us check-in much earlier then normal due to the fact that we were travelling all night! The rooms were spotless clean, the hotel is full of history and vintage as we love. We had dinner in the restaurant of the hotel, the restaurant has 1 Michelin STAR awarded for many years and the expectations were high. The food was excellent and we had a big surprise from the staff. It was my daughters birthday and they sang Happy Birthday along with the entire restaurant to her with a cake and candles. I would like to thank the waitress from Cluj, she was very nice and helpful! I would like to show my appreciation to the entire staff, to the manager, to the chef, etc. They left at the reception the breakfast because we were leaving before opening hours on our departure! Defenetly recommend this location for everyone in case you want an unforgettable experience and it is really close to the Ferrari museums!
