Giovanni is an extraordinarily welcoming host, he made us feel at home and sat with us at breakfast telling us stories about the place. Breakfast by the way was really great, tasty and plentiful as it should be!

It's an absolute gem! Nestled in the Tuscan hills, this place offers stunning views and a serene atmosphere. The rooms are beautifully decorated with rustic charm, and the free WiFi and private bathrooms add convenience. The shared lounge with a fireplace is perfect for cozy evenings, and the daily Italian breakfast with homemade delights is a treat. With free private parking and the amazing host Giovanni, who is friendly, helpful, and makes the best pizzas, this B&B is a true delight! Grazie mille Giovanni!

Not a negative about the property itself, but the drive up is very long and windy so be prepared if you are susceptible to car sickness! No complaints at all

Giovanni and his family were so welcoming when we arrived at their cute b&b in the mountains above castiglione di garfagnana; it’s very much a family home so don’t expect a sterile hotel atmosphere! Our room was traditional (in line with the property) and spotless. We were able to walk 15min down the hill to the village for dinner in the osteria which was lovely. Breakfast was fantastic, so many homemade cakes, coffee, juice, bread, cookies.. the list goes on! It is excellent value for money and the hosts are so kind, we loved our stay!

What can I say? Everything was perfect. The fireplace in the lobby/breakfast room was even on when I came back after dinner being cold from riding my motorbike.

Not enough words to describe how wonderful Giovanni was and how fantastic the entire area is. Giovanni was so kind, so knowledgeable, so helpful (and we had an unwell traveler during our stay) so accommodating! It felt like we were all old friends. And, that lesser known part of Tuscany, the mountains…spectacular. We will be back as soon as we are able.

We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful B&B. Easy to drive to in great location. Super clean and cozy room with comfy bed. We always had the best start to our day by enjoying an amazing breakfast spread. Most definitely recommend!

Fabulous location with amazing views. Small walk into local walled town. Giovanni was lovely and great breakfast with homemade cakes. Dog friendly with large gardens and wooded area around the property. Loved everything about it

The bathroom wasn't perfectly clean when we arrived, there were a few hairs around the toilet and in the shower box. Nothing major though, overall the bathroom still had a good level of cleanliness.

Giovanni is an amazing host, friendly and available, he will always go the extra mile for you and give useful information on Garfagnana. Very nice room, fantastic breakfast (amazing homemade cakes every morning!).

Giovanni is a fantastic host, always greeting you with a big smile and ensuring everyone staying gets introduced to eachother. He is very knowledgeable about the area and had even made a little exhibit on his land about chestnut farming and the development in to flour. The breakfasts are fantastic, with Giovanni's mum making cakes for a traditional Garfagnana breakfast.

The room was pretty simple, with basic amenities. You can hear everything throughout the house, but it didn’t bother us that much

Our stay was more than satisfying in this cosy and local B&B. It's situated directly on the street, so very easy to arrive and not far from the sorrounding villages. Host Giovanni, always friendly and very welcoming, takes good care of his guests. He serves a nice breakfast in the morning with also fresh homemade cakes or boiled/fried eggs. He can also suggest places to go/eat or activities in the area and if you prefer to stay "Home" during the evening you can also enjoy reading a book in the living room warming up next to his fireplace.

The generous hospitality of Giovanni and great suggestion a reataurant and a mountainbiking route. The breakfast was abundant with Italian sweet delights, which was a change from regular breakfast, but when in Rome...

Giovanni made us feel very welcome, and made reservations at a great restaurant we otherwise would not have found So a very personal amd friendly service overall Special was the home made cake by his mother for breakfast!
