Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SpainSometimes the noise filtered up on weekends from restaurant clients but nothing major for us.
The location was perfect. Right in the middle of everything. Even though we had stayed in the center last time too, the surrounding was better here. The artwork adorning the lobby and rooms is fantastic. The breakfast consisted of real pastries (like pistachio croissants) and a lovely cappuccino. Leah, the hostess is a wealth of information and so friendly. She made our stay memorable. We would stay there again if we need to revisit Palermo. The restaurant downstairs has amazing food too.

GreeceNothing to dislike . A minor thing is that the room we stayed is located over the restaurant so it can be a bit loud in the evening. But that's just the price you pay for staying in the city centre and did not bother us.
Excellent location in the historic centre of Palermo. Great communication with the owner, although we did not meet. Gave us great advice and especially about our car. At last we chose to park our car in a parking place nearby, for 15 euros for an overnight stay. We also had to buy a ticket in order to enter the ZTL zone and leave our luggage in the apartment. There are also some parking places for free if you are lucky. Room was clean and spacious. The B&B is decorated in vibrant Sicilian colours with large murals and traditional artworks dotted around. Excellent breakfast (a big variety of fruits, yogurt, oats, granola, cheese, ham, bread , cakes, croissants and more). We also ate at the restaurant downstairs that we recommend without doubt.

AlbaniaIt was all good.
The breakfast was great and tasty. I enjoyed also the comfort of both the room and the hall and the lady serving the breakfast. A cozy and intimate place through which you could reach the most important points of Palermo.

PolandFrom time to time, small seagulls were too loud in the morning, when we opened the window 😎 ( in reality, it even gives a climate of a port city , which is normal😁)
Perfect location in a historical district. You can get from there to any place in Palermo by feet.. Very comfortable rooms, very clean, really nice decorated. Same for a main hall, where You can rest and enjoy the atmosphere of the place. Every morning, you can eat typical Italian breakfast with wonderful coffee (macchiato rules☕️) We really enjoyed our stay. I can recommend that place to all who want to feel a spirit of Palermo😎👍

IrelandThere was no lift but this seemed to be temporary.
Situated in a nice area of the old city. The owner was very friendly and gave great advice on places to visit and where to eat. Room was clean and spacious. The B&B is decorated in vibrant Sicilian colours with large murals and traditional artworks dotted around. Mediterranean-style breakfast with lots of fresh cakes, pastries, bread, jams, fruits and yogurts. Around 10-minutes walk from the central train and bus station and close to the Via Roma stop from Palermo airport.

GermanyThe only negative point are the windows. They are "old style" one and do not close properly. Since the location is full of life during the night, noises are clearly audible. By the way, the owner told us that it is planned a substitution of them.
The B&B is in the hearth of the city, every main attraction is easily reachable on foot from there. The Structure is amazing, an building from the XVI century totally restored and fine decorated. Rooms are big and comfortable (mine was a triple room). The Staff is extremely polite and supported us for any kind of request. Breakfast is really a high level one.
