Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SwitzerlandThe Hotel needs a urgent renovation. The Spa in particular has a lot of limescal and in some places water is Seeping through so that the ceiling is slowly collapsing.
There were a lot of Things that i liked. On of the Things was the Position of the hotel, you have many Chances to visit different Places like Pisa or florenz so as Lucca. The Spa has everything that you need vor a relaxing stay. From 5 differnt pools with special water and diffrent Saunas. Waht i really liked was the taff, we had i Problem with our Room and wanted a change. That Was not a problem an they Changed Our Room to a Upgrade one. That was really nice.

FranceEverything was relaxing except when the maintenance people started to clean the floor in the massage area and touchup the paint on the walls at the pools area.
The reception team was very helpful and efficient in finding and booking the restaurants in the towns around the hotel.

RomaniaNot really a 5 * leading hotel of the world! they have to improve/repair some of the rooms, especially on the 3 rd floor. At the pool the rules were not enforced, very few people took a shower before entering the pool, many children jumping into the pool, totally insufficient lounges around the pool, never found a lounge free to leave bathrobe(in 6 days,at different times).Access to the main pool is via stairs not exactly the best for people with mobility issues. Dinner at restaurant rather poor choices, very slow service. The location does not have taxis! so if you need one, you have to order some time before and it arrives from Pisa (around 30 E). Confined to the hotel and environment. No entertainment program even around new year.New year dinner was very fine, good choice of food and wine, but started about 1 hour later with the customers waiting in front of entrance and service again very, very slow.
Fine, old hotel, beautiful building, luxury rooms real big, comfy, practically no view from 1 st floor- just the tree tops and parking place, large bath with plenty of storage space, breakfast very good, lots of local products, wide choice, good service,spa/pool with thermal water very good, albeit very dark, careful when walking around the main pool, lots of water on the floor, very slippery, never saw anybody to clean the floors. Very kind and efficient housekeeping, very efficient front desk. Hotel should provide a plan/map since navigating from reception to our 1 st floor room, took 2 elevators and some walking between them, very little signage, for elevators/restaurant etc

United KingdomNeed updating especially bathrooms - look bit tired and need a good clean . Staff very mostly nice and helpful but housekeeping raise a few questions. Every time we leave room maid very going in and fix the bed etc . Keep closing window shutters and keep room in a dark. Also took our spa towers on day one and never replaced them , so is glasses for water . I found it strange considering she was coming back to our room 20 times a day and not noticing that we need a towers , gowns or water glasses . But tidy things in my suitcase . Also on a check out we were changed for the room again ( we had prepaid in advance and amount was different from our booking price on a web , it’s was corrected after I pointed)
Beautiful building and gardens , variety of spa treatments. Outdoor pool with thermal water is lovely in a winter.

United KingdomThe restaurant and bar onsite is slightly overpriced. The TV was a little too small and could do with an upgrade. There were no bathrobes in the room and for some reason the additional pillows were removed from our room the second day which was perplexing.
This is undoubtedly one of the most historic thermal spas you can find in Italy. The history, it being the summer residence of the Duke of Tuscany back in the 18th century and frequented by many on the Grand Tour, only adds to the charm and intrigue. We stayed in a room with original frescoes on the ceiling. Stunning and historic. This made for a wonderful experience looking up at the frescoes and wondering about all the many years this building has stood and the visitors it has hosted. The bed was enormous and although it appeared to be two beds joined together, it was comfortable and enabled a good night's sleep. The bathroom is large and was very clean. The large windows and shutters add to the character. The breakfast was good and had a wide range of choices. It's a luxury hotel but not stuffy like other 5 star spa hotels you may find. There is no need to wear formal or even smart casual when dining or going for breakfast etc, which was a nice change actually. The staff were friendly and polite. We enjoyed dining in the restaurant and a drink at the bar. However, a real delight is the surrounding area. Do venture outside and go to the little bar and restaurant just outside the hotel in the square. The pizza is delicious as was the local wine (very very good value) and the prepared dishes such as braised fennel and courgettes were delicious. There is a wine bar and a couple of good restaurants in the square too. The surrounding area, despite having this luxury spa hotel, feels very authentic and Tuscan, so you can really enjoy the lifestyle and venture out for an evening walk. The thermal waters were envigorating and there was enough space to not feel overcrowded or rushed between the different areas. We loved the outdoor pool with its views and that wonderful feeling of being outside in the rain, but with the warmth of the thermal waters. Treatments were good and fairly priced.

Hong KongUpkeep could be better, some repairs needed. We had 2 rooms, 1 shower was excellent, the other barely worked no water pressure so they come and showered in my room. Location town had little food options if at all, only hotel had decent dining options. If I didn’t have a car to go visit nearby Pisa and Lucca, it would be very boring experience. Also there are 2 wings of the hotel, 1 side is more accessible to thermal spa than the other. I stayed on the further side and it don’t feel luxury to be walking across the hotel lobby in my bathrobe to reach the spa
The history behind it is interesting and the thermal pools are well managed. Liked the fact everyone showered and wore swimming cap so no hair issue at all in the pool, which is very crucial to enjoy the thermal pool. Parking was relatively easy on site which is good. Decoration is a little dusty but good ambivalence. Restaurant was a surprise, staff attitude were excellent and professional, food very decent although a little pricy.
