The small bathroom was the shower, so the whole bathroom gets wet.

Was very happy with this hotel – it has a number of rooms on the 5 and 6th floor. Our room was clean but small with good view looking south. No complaints, the staff were very friendly. Continental breakfast was good with the standard offerings. What I liked most was its rooftop patio. It offers a nice view of the city while letting you escape the chaos. We sat up there one evening with a bottle of wine, very enjoyable!

The room key weighed a tonne and you had to take it up three flights of stairs to reception before you went out. Corridor noise a bit OTT when revellers came back late at night.

No fruit at breakfast, basic toiletries in a sachet not practical Just have a basic shower gel dispenser! Reception on different level to room had to hand key in and hope someone lets you in at night !

The ensure bathrooms are not very practical. My partner has just had a replacement knee and was unable to sit on the toilet as you only had 6 inches between the toilet and the wall. The shower is in the same very confined space and when you have a shower it soaks the toilet sink and any floor surface.

The hotel appeared to be family run, very clean, friendly staff, nothing was too much trouble. Food at breakfast plentiful.

Very nice and friendly hotel, we went in the winter and it was very warm. Breakfast was ok, had fresh croissants and an amazing toaster oven that would allow for the most delicious pressed croissants ☺️ It was an fair price quality ratio

This was a nice homie place in the center, where you feel welcomed and safe. Very friendly and helpful staff, breakfast amazing, you even have a beautiful city view. I would definitely go there again.

The hotel building was bizarre, not built as a hotel. Reception and breakfast area were at the top floor. We stayed at the first floor where internet/wifi was poor. The bathroom was also not practical with no separation for the shower, wetting the whole room. Breakfast was poor with not many choices: coffee, tea, ham, one type cheese, Italian salami, croissants and bread. Breakfast area was small with travellers waiting for free tables ( better in summer as they open the external balconies )

The location was practical, at a walking distance from nearly all the touristic and culinary sites, There was a supermarket in front of the hotel and a small cafe serving also ice cream. A few shops close by selling leather bags and touristic articles were practical.

It was very inconvenient that we have to surrender and get our keys each and every time we go in and out of the hotel as we were in the 1st flor and the front desk is at the 4th floor. The bathroom is very small and the view in our room is not good.

Breakfast is good - though we stayed for 5 nights and it will always be the same thing. The breakfast staff service is superb! When we checked in, we were given very little info. But we managed. Location is the best as we have bus stations nearby and we can walk to popular tourist destinations from the hotel.

The hotel seriously needs a refurbishment. It's a quaint hotel but looks and feels old. The toilet slightly leaks and the shower leaked quite a bit. The AC didn't work. The WiFi was very weak in our room. Breakfast, even though it was good, was too small of an area to accommodate all the guests

Hotel was absolutely perfectly located. Right bang in the middle of Florence with everything within walking distance. Staff were nice and breakfast was good. There is an incredible view on the hotel roof

It is a great cozy hotel! Nice breakfast, super friendly staff, perfect location. Had a view from the window to the Santa Croce. They also have just an amazing terrace with a view of Santa Maria del Fiore. I was surprised and thrilled. We left our luggage after checkout time for free with no problem. My overall impression is 10/10, will definitely recommend this place!

I would prefer the breakfast to include more fibers like fruit or vegetables. There was a lot of sugary products, like marmelades, or honey, croissants, bread. I didn't like much of the room's lock, it was a bit old and it would recquire to do some tricks with the key in order to open the door.

I really liked the staff's kindness. There was 24hours reception. The room was totally price- worthy. The room was connected to a rooftop where you could see the city and the sky. The breakfast was absolutely full.

Bathroom in Room 19 was very very small. Knees touching the wall when you sit on the toilet and no real shower - more like a wet room. Bed in Room 19 is advertised as a double bed but it is two single mattresses with a gap that was uncomfortable in the night. Breakfast lacked fresh fruit (only tinned), the rolls on our second morning were rock solid and clearly from the day before, which was a shame as they were clearly from a bakery and homemade and really nice the first morning. There was freshly made coffee available but it was not offered to us.

Hotel was lovely, it is on the fifth floor and we got a room facing the street so we got a nice view. Bonus was the roof top terrace table and chairs that had the most spectacular view of the city and the Tuscan hills surrounding Florence. Room was clean, it had a balcony and it was cleaned every day. Breakfast was good, delicious choice of pastries cereals, toast, cold cuts, filter coffee.

WE STAYED IN BODONI 13 YEARS AGO AND WE LIKED IT. THIS FEBRUARY WE RETURNED TO FIND THE QUALITY HAS NOT CHANGED. GOOD BREAKFAST,COMFORTABLE BEDS TWO BALCONIES AND EXTREMELY CLEAN AT A GOOD PRICE. CLOSE TO ALL THE TOURIST ATRACTIONS. AND ONLY 3 BLOCKS FROM SANTA CROCE. VERYQUIET AND SAFE AT NIGHT. GOOD MARKET ACROSSTHE STREET

A friendly and welcoming hotel. Breakfast was excellent - plenty of choice. The location is excellent, near to the cathedral and all the most famous sites. Plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. The rooms were clean and comfortable.
