Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Room wasn't super clean when I got there, AC didn't work and the shower door came off the track.
Bed was comfortable and had a nice balcony as well.

The small size of the shower. There was hardly sufficient space to enjoy a proper shower. The people in the next room wake up early and spoke quite loudly and I found difficulty returning to sleep . The wall does not have sufficient insulation to avoid noisy neighbours. There are no tea/coffee making facilties.
Lovely location, staff were friendly and most helpful.

The furniture is very old, with holes in the shower. The shower is so small that I don't think everyone can fit in. The bathroom was malodorus when leaving the toilet seat open. There were holes in the towels and in the bed sheets as well. The mattress was old as well and uncomfortable, too soft, and we had back pain the day after. You could hear everything from other rooms and it was loud at night at some point, which woke up me. My mascara went missing, I guees I will never know if they stole it or threw away, since I complained with the hotel and they didn't even answer
It was clean the hotel and the location was perfect because it was very close to the central station, which connects Milan to the airport and Milan Centre. They cleaned the room daily, changed the towels daily, and gave more toiletries items. The room temperature was very hot but it is perfect if you like it, but you could suffer if you would prefer a different type of environment.

The other patrons - not very cosiderate sound wise. not much the hotel can do about that I suppose.
Locatinn was near the places I wanted to be near. The room was good enough but there was a step-up into the bathroom from the rest of the room which is a bit odd. The staff are very friendly.

The rooms are very simple, the furniture is a little ragged. Old-fashioned but clean bathroom.
The staff were very friendly! The hotel is near Milano Centrale. (I can't judge breakfast as I left early.)

The breakfast was very simple. There was not aircondition in the room.

The hotel was a bit worn down and not very modern but for the price you pay it's good value.
Very good if you need a cheap place to stay. The location was good and the staff was incredibly nice.

See above. Interior of hotel in sore need of work re painting. The wood work is often chipped and carpets cleaned or renewed. All superficial stuff really but it would help to make the hotel what one would expect from a hotel in Milan. Got the impression that the Chinese management were new to the place.
Good air conditioning good shower soft bed the hotel interior however is in sore need of improvement all a bit dowday but I enjoyed my stay nevertheless.

It seems a renovation is needed.
The location is good and the staff is friendly. For a night stay, just for a short stop, this hotel might be ok for you. A few blocks from the train station and subway which takes you to the Duomo. Staff very friendly and helpful.

If you have room with street view it can be a bit noisy, any other complaints.
Location of hotel is perfect for sightseeing, metro is really close. In room furniture is old, but everything was clean. If you up to seeing city and using your room just for sleeping and taking shower you'll be satisfied. Lots of restaurants and supermarket nearby.
