Italy has a major problem with garbage. It really hurts to see how much garbage there is on the streets and in the sea. This sea was no exception. I like to snorkel, but sometimes it just feels you are snorkling in a garbage dump. The amount of plastic in the sea is shocking and mocks the fact that in the office and schools we are debating about the use of plastic straws and wooden stir sticks. Seriously. I find it shocking this is Europe. And it really is the same everywhere in Italy (I went to Sicily, Sardinia and South on the main land). Some specific facts on this hotel: our bungalow was next to the railroad track. When a train passes, it is really noticeable. The hotel is next to Club Med Cefalu. It has changed name and I found it difficult to find on Google Maps. When found, Google Maps took me to the wrong entrance which is a very, very tight road with lots of possibilities to mess up your rental car. So please do yourself a favor and take the entrance from the right side (which is left of the entrance of Club Med Cefalu). The man that met us at the check in was not so polite, talks very load and talks to you as if you are a child :) Also, they tried to take our passports while we were there and I objected to this. Making a copy of it is ok, but taking my passport from me is not OK.

Location is good, close to Cefalu. Beds were better than usually found in Italian hotels. The view from the bungalow was nice. The hotel has no rooms but small bungalows. The restaurant is great (we only had breakfast), both the food as well as the view. There were no pancakes, but everything else was there. And more. This is suited for families, so lots of children are there. And a lot of stray cats. The hotel has nice Mugler shampoo and soap.

The very narrow approach road to the resort is not lit and at night this was difficult and could be dangerous (walking or driving) The bar on the beach never seemed to be open.

Such an exquisite location in a beautiful bay and so close to the sea. Very friendly staff. Lovely breakfasts

Staff very professional and sympathetic. Special tanks to Mateo who helped me to organize a Pirate treasure hunt for my 4 years boy. Incredible view from the terrace. Nice location, not too far from Cefalu center and very quiet.

The servers were fantastic, they looked after my young kids 3 year old and 2 year old during the meal service. A formal sit-down meal service with young kids can be challenging but the staff were very helpful with entertaining and looking after the kids.

This resort is amazing the views are to die for. The staff couldn't do enough to help. Was very clean and tidy Breakfast was fabulous everything you need to start your day. Would recommend as cefalu is a beautiful place.

The staff is amazing! Everyone was cheerful & showed they care about their guests, from check-in, to housekeeping to restaurant staff to check out. The wait staff was very personable & pretty funny as well. You could tell they really enjoy each other & what they do.

Great location in stunning coastal scenery with Cefalu only 25 minutes away via a pleasant walk along the seafront. The staff were absolutely brilliant - Giancarlo in reception was kindness personified while the restaurant staff were an absolute hoot, especially Nino, Alessio and Mario

The breakfast is just perfect. The rooms are clean. The binglows are in a large proximity to the beach and have an exceptional views. You literally sleep on the sound of the sea. Spacious parking space. Welcoming staff who are will willing to support. The area is a few minutes away (by car) from the heart of the city.
