Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Room was too tiny and the wardrobe's sliding door was problematic.
Hotel was conveniently located and staff were very helpful - facilitated an early check-in and gave useful recommendations on places nearby to dine.

There is nothing I can think if that can be improved. Some travellers may not like being out of the centre of Milan but we enjoyed it since it was less touristy.
The breakfast was included in the price and was always amazing. Loved the freshly squeezed orange juice and the variety of food available. The staff were always so lovely - nothing was too much trouble. After a few days the staff in the breakfast room had our cappucino ready for us when we came down for breakfast.

The bar is limited and the restaurant also but they do their best. But then again in the neighborhood there are many restaurants.

Bathtub could have been bit more clean.

Nothing not to like.
Very nice hotel that is well situated for the metro line to the expo centre and into the centre of Milan. Perfect for business and pleasure. Staff were very helpful and most pleasant. Enjoyed our short stay.

I was in mid October and it was cold outside in the city. There was no way to turn on heating, so it got very cold in the room and I had to be in a jacket all the time. Also because there was no bathrobe, it was freezing when I got out of shower.
The room and hotel facilities are excellent. Staff is very hospitable. Location is good, in a nice street.

We missed some outlets by the bed.
The room was very comfortable, and the bathroom was very clean and well equipped. The breakfast was superb :D Even if the room had a classical style, it offered all the modern facilities you expect in a 4 star hotel.

The front desk help a lot and the location is pretty good, I and my wife enjoy the breakfast a lot, they even prepare quick breakfast for us when we schedule early city tour.

The airconditioning in the room didn't work well so it could not reach the required temperature. Additionally, although understood for environmental reasons, the air-conditioning was switched off automatically when left the room so it was quite warm when getting in and it took a long time before it was comfortable.
Clean hotel with nice furniture and friendly staff.

Some of the staff members had different approach to different customers in terms of friendliness. I dont know if this was language related or a selective approach towards differences in looks.
I liked the interior design and the overall aesthetical choices. Overall attention to detail and quality was very visible. The room and the halls had a beautiful scent. The condiments were also selected carefully. The breakfast was quite compact but full of everything you might want plus freshly squeezed orange juice.

The Hotel is well located and offers all you need for a quick stay. I had a single room and it was huge enough for two. The room was very clean and tidy. It was quiet and the bed was really comfortable. The breakfast was very rich and staff was pleasant.
