Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

It was loud on the corridors starting with 7h45-8h (cleaning ladies/ staff). When you go to sleep at 01h30 because of your travel, you might want/ need to sleep in, like until at least 9h... But overall, a great stay with very very good conditions. I recommend and I will come back for sure! Mille grazie!!!

Very clean rooms, cleaned daily. They made us feel at home and welcomed. Bathroom fully equiped, with free toiletries (soap, toothbrush and toothpaste). Coffee from the vending machine is very good. Snack and drinks vending machine is also available. Parking outside the property was a huge plus. Would definitely come back.

I was at a wedding closeby and this was a convenient location to stay afterwards. The host was very kind and let me check-in a bit later than usual. I was traveling alone, and the room for myself with toilet was great value for the price!

The host was very supportive and nice he even pick me up form Bergamo train station to the hotel and from the hotel to the airport with just a few euro i really appreciate that.

Because of late night and renovation of construction we couldnt find the entrance but the staff helped as later.
The room was very clean, tidy and smelled very nice. We went late at night, and the staff was very helpful and friendly. We left early in the Morning. We liked so much

It's not the easiest place to find if you're looking for somewhere near to Bergamo airport, it took me nearly 2 hours on public transport so taxi or hire car is more convenient but expensive.
The room was clean and tidy, the facilities were basic but the staff were really friendly and welcoming.

Amazing and spacious room with ensuite bathroom and very comfortable bed. Also, the owners are some of the most amazing people I have ever met in my entire life. We lost our last bus from Bergamo to arrive at their facility and after walking for almost an hour and being so tired we called them and they personally came by car and took us to the Casa Giuly without asking for any fee for this. It was also a very late hour. I totally recommend this place to anyone visiting Bergamo and we'll definitely stay here again in the future.

It would be extra nice if there was available tea in the room, but there wasnt. It was only possible to purchase it upstears.
The host was kind and helpful for late night check in. The room was nice and clean. Price per quality was exceptional.

The property was very clean and had everything we needed for a one night stay having just arrived at Bergamo airport that evening. Our flight was delayed and the staff very kindly let us check in two hours later then planned. Parking was easy and the room was spacious and very clean.

Everything was perfect! Landlord also waited for us to arrive until 11 pm and met us in person. We had all the things we need in the apartment such as shampoo, slippers, toothbrushes etc. It was also very clean and spacious.

Perfect for a brief stop over where sleep is the only requirement.
