My family (including my husband and two daughters aged 8 and 12) had a truly wonderful stay at Case Vacanze Mare Nostrum. The apartment provided everything we needed, including excellent air conditioning, a swimming pool, a spacious balcony terrace with a BBQ and a fantastic view. Last but not least, it offered direct access to a beautiful beach, practically in the apartment’s backyard! Supermarkets were within walking distance, and the charming town of Campofelice di Roccella, with its nice bars and restaurants, was nearby. On top of that, our host went the extra mile to ensure we had a great time in Sicily. They responded quickly, communicated pleasantly, provided guidance on things to do, see, and eat in the area, and even helped organize an excursion to the Aeolian Islands for our family. It’s also worth noting that the apartment is centrally located on the northern coast of Sicily, providing a strategic position to explore the island of Sicily. Palermo is just around the corner, and a mere 10-minute drive takes you to the charming town of Cefalù, known for its fine beaches, restaurants, and picturesque streets to stroll. If you have a car to explore the island, you can easily drive to either the west coast (e.g. Trapani or Marsala) or the east coast (e.g. Taormina, Noto or Syracuse) of Sicily. We did all of that and had an amazing holiday in Sicily. We would definitely come back to Sicily and stay in this apartment again!

Location was right on a quiet lovely beach. There was a pool for the children and each property was like a mini house with garden and swings. You would need a car but we liked not being in a busy area, little pub 2 mins walk away with live music and cocktails - Pub 55. Our favourite restaurant was Amore. The village has lovely ice cream with a view and a nice takeaway pizza shop. Cefalu is nice for the day too.

Kitchen had some water damage in the furniture, and it smelled kinda bad. Apart from this, there were no problems at all.

If the kitchen and living room were a bit more updated it would be great.

The location is top. The house/rooms are small but it has a very nice balcony where you can have meals or lay back and read a book. Beach and swimming pool are 2 steps away. You just need the car to go buy food. Garden and pool are very nicely cared for. Car park at the doorstep.

We liked everything.

The app was great, clean, simple, had everything you need for a short or a long stay and big terrace with a beautiful view of the hills. The beds were comfortable, there was a designated parking space inside the property just in front of the entrance which is very convenient. The property is gated, inside are a few houses with apps and it also has a private gate which leads to a beautiful sandy beach.

We didn't dislike anything but you 100% need a car to get around, even to the supermarkets and restaurants, moreso when out of season like we were.

The hosts were extremely helpful and friendly, if there was anything you needed and didn't have, the hosts would either get it for you or help you find it. The beach was just behind the pool and although a pebble beach, it was beautiful.

To be honest: There is nothing we need to complane.

We enjoyed a two week holiday in this place with our two children (3 + 5 years). We stayed there a little bit off season ((last two september weeks) ) The place is located between other holiday appartment settlements. Overall: it was a quite clean place with a kitchen, good WLAN and close enough to different supermarkets and restaurants. You'll need a car.

Nice sized villa in a quiet residential area. Walking distance to the train station, about 30 minutes, we were travelling by bicycle and my daughters by train, they arrived direct from Palermo airport, so very handy and much cheaper than a taxi. Supermarket about 10 mins by bicycle. As we were visiting in September some of the restaurants were closed for the season but there was a pizza restaurant 30 minutes walk. The beach behind the house was part shingle and sand and was very quiet, and the sea lovely to swim in. The pool and gardens were well kept and plenty of loungers and umbrellas. The house has a small garden and covered patio area with a table and chairs, so we sat outside having our meals. We had a very enjoyable and relaxing week.

Property was clean, well stocked with items needed for the stay and had a pool, plus was next to beach. A perfect combination. Location was really good too, easy to get to Cefalu and the Madonie Mountains.

We were very pleased with everything, the only little problem can be the water pressure in the bathroom.

The accommodation is in a very nice, quiet location. Car rental is definitely recommended. The car can be parked right next to the apartment in an enclosed area. The apartment is comfortable and well equipped. They were waiting for us at the agreed time. The hosts were kind, helpful and available anytime we had any questions during our stay. The pool is clean and nice. The garden offers direct access to the sandy, pebble beach. The beach was used only by the residents, there were few, it was very private..

The property itself has no defects. We personally did not like the beach (it’s mostly stones) and there is nothing closed by (restaurants or bars) but we bath in the sea and it was great anyway. It’s important to mention that to bath in the pool you’ll need to wear a bath cap (which is often required in Italy but was not mentioned anywhere)

The villa is fully equipped, lots of space with private parking, BBQ, terrace and swings. Up to 4 people will stay comfortable in it. The shared pool is nice even though we did not use and it is surrounded by beautiful olive trees. There is a path inside the property that goes to the beach. We needed oil, vinaigrette and salt and the owner provided it to us so we didn’t have to go and buy a whole package.

Simplest equipment, which is already very old and worn out. The pillow smelled, the bathroom too. Uncomfortable beds. Area and also the beach not really recommendable. To expensive for what you get.

We booked 2 rooms. One is quite modern but the other is a bit aged.

The pool is clean. Beach is within 5 min walk. It is quite spacious and parking just outside the property.
