The accommodation (some apartments) are not very safe for small children due to the large staircase in our apartment.

Very good location, it's quiet and peaceful. Everything you need is close by. Simple nice facility, clean rooms, very nice approach, helpful staff.

We found the mattress uncomfortable and disliked the decor, which could be easily done much better especially when you consider that the structure is old and beautiful.

The owner met us at the place and he was very friendly, we had a delay and he waited for us. The location is excellent its just off the old town and just off the main shopping street.

there was no windows, we have to only open the door for fresh air. I like my room to be lighted by the sun but this one has none.

they have good facilities and kitchen necessities. location is near the port and beach. near to restaurants and a supermarket just beside it. very accessible location to everything. good service. we rented the room with mezzanine bedroom, it was spacey for all of us.

Location is great. Just on the edge of the old town. Pleasant little courtyard. Room was functional but very good value. No complaints. Staff easy to contact and arrange things with. They provided a taxi number and allowed us to pay the following day when we were tired after our trip.

AC was a huge plus - the temperature outside was pretty high at the time of our stay. The room was cosy and comfortable, there was washing machine, which came very handy, since our clothes were either full of sweat or salt from the sea at the end of a day:)) Fridge and gas stovetop to cook on were also really helpfull. Overall it was very pleasant to stay there.

Marguerita was a very friendly hostess. She does not speak very much English, but she is super friendly and tries to help in every way possible. The rooms are huge, with great air conditioning, fridge and a big bathroom / toilet. Location is 10/10 in via XXX Gennaio. You have the sea at both ends of the street, less than 5 mins walk to either the train station, or to the port where the tourist boats leave to Favignana & Levanzo. Great cafe's along the street (Especially 'Sweet Way' which is left out of the hotel and down the road near to the port (Great coffee, ice cream and sandwiches). You are so close to restaurants and beaches, and also the train station - all less than 5 minutes walk - plus the hotel itself is so easy to find, not like some of the little hotels and rooms to rent in the hold town, which is a lovely maze of narrow streets.

Wifi could be better, it was quite dark in the kitchen, in may it can be chilly at night so more blankets would be great

The apartment was very spacious, 3 separate bathrooms were really helpful for 10 people, everything in the city was very close to the place, kitchen was equipped with everything we needed and the price is outstanding

No shelf in shower cubicle for toiletries. No curtain in upper window in bathroom and anyone can have a great peep from the upper staircase windows 👀

Apartment could be a bit cleaner but in general ok. Kitchen was not used for a long time. Wifi was not working or no signal. The biggest problem was with water in shower, cannot set up proper temperature - once ice cold and once hot as boiling water. The largest apartment don´t have access to terrace (in description of accommodation it was including terrace)

The apartments in the photo look much better. In real life they look very old and tired. In addition to all this, it is very dirty; the floor hasn’t been washed for several months, maybe years. The bed linen is also old and poorly washed. No one washes the blankets on the beds, they stink. Immediately when we arrived there was no electricity in the apartment, we waited a long time for it to be turned on. Also know, that there are no windows in the rooms, only a door, and it is very dark and uncomfortable. There is no Internet in the apartment, although it’s written that there is, there’s a login and password on the wall, but lady from the reception said it doesn’t work. The balcony is very dangerous if you come with children, they can fall and break themselves. The bathroom is dirty and the plumbing is moldy. Overall, stay away from this place. Upon arrival we contacted the owner (no one speaks English) and he refused to refund the money. We really wanted to go to any other hotel or apartment, but we couldn’t come to an agreement.

The apartment was comfortable and clean. The staff Margerita was very helpful. The location was perfect we had everything around us grocery restaurants coffee bar and beach 10 minutes away.

Perhaps it is my fault that I didn't pay close enough attention when I booked this accommodation. First off, it was not easy for me to find . I called 30 minutes before as was requested and the man didn't speak english and was dismissive and gruff. He wanted me to write to him via Booking.com, which I did. I had to have a local waiter call him so we could figure out where it was...There is a small plaque but no real sign that I saw. I had asked about the parking and I was told no problem...when I arrived, he told me to park in a parking garage that was about 10 blocks away and in the end, cost be about 85 euro ( due to it being summer) The place is on the first floor but a walk up quite a few stairs/flights. I had a heavy bag and there was no help...the owner, again gruff, told me he had a back problem and again dismissed me ..a guest ended up helping me. I got the feeling he wanted to check me in and then leave. The whole place is just a few festively painted up rooms in a large building with balconies facing in. The room was fine, everything you could need and it was clean..but it was noisy. The location was ok...further than I would have liked once I got to know the town...In the end, I got what I paid for.

Dirty bathroom (mold in shower), leaking toilet, very small amount of hand soap, nothing to clean the dishes with, weak wifi, hosts don’t speak a word of English, you can’t pay by card (cash only), a few flying moles inside cabinets.

first night was a nightmare cause the ac wasnt working and there wasnt a fan that atleast i could have used and also there wasnt a window for the air to go in, can you imagine that night i couldnt sleep due to the heat i was like in hell. the day after in evening they came and told us to change the room cause the ac cannot be fixed that day , then the day after they told me you have to move again cause people are comig in . i was like a jukebox changing the apt i went there to relax not to be tossed around ,also the shower had only the top handle and payed full they told us only sorry

the rooms were nice also the patio was nice and the apartment was in the center

We really enjoyed our stay in Centrale. What we particularly liked was: - communication before arrival - perfect location close to the city center and the train station - the size of the apartment - all needed things which were onsite (towels, cutlery, etc.) - extremely nice host

Lovely place 😊 very clean apartment with everything what you need. The staff there were friendly and always ready to help you with everything what you need. The apartmant is located in the city center which is full of restaurant, cafetteria,little shops. Shop with basic things for food or shower you can find next to accomodation. I recommend to eat food outside because a taste of real italian food is unforgettable experience.
