Gianni’s place is truly special. We travelled with our 22 month old and it was just perfect. The apartment was spacious and the kitchen was well equipped. The balcony was large and the view was spectacular. The grounds of the property were absolutely beautiful, the views from all places were picturesque. The apartments were spacious and spread out so you felt like you had the whole place to yourself. The pool was lovely and surrounded by wild flowers. Our little one loved this place! Their neighbouring property had goats and donkeys at the fence daily. There was a swing and slide set and a beautiful dog called Lila, who she loved playing with. Gianni’s place was in a good location with easy access by car to the many wonderful surrounding towns of Umbria. Gianni was a great host. We loved our stay and would love to be back one day!

Nice quiet place, lovely owner. The kids loved the dog Lila. Good swimming pool which although almost full booked felt like a private swimming pool. Good location to visit surrounding places like Assisi, Perugia and more.

Gianni is very welcoming, cosy and helpful. He organised archery for us and another family. The apartment is very neat with good beds. The space around the house is beautiful and the pool was lovely too. We enjoyed it!

it was all fabulous

We loved everything about the property. The pool was fantastic as was all the facilities. Gianni went out of his way to make sure our group of 20 had everything they needed. he arranged wine tasting and even bought an additional outdoor table so we could have a fabulous banquet. The apartments were clean and had all the necessary items. the WiFi in all areas was a great touch and the bbq facilities were easy to use. lots to see around the area - great pizza place and Assisi was wonderful -

Gianni is an fantastic host,, with the necessary humor. One word is enough to see him show up 5 minutes later with a full kitchen knife set. Rooms were spacious and good beds are grateful. Swimming pool is an easy distance away and does not disturb the rest of the guests at evening gatherings. Very satisfied guests said goodbye but not before Gianni give present for the birthday girl. This summer at Cerqua Rosara we enjoyed the peace and freedom in this beautiful green environment. An oasis of peace is found here. A beautiful and well-maintained estate with an equally beautiful swimming pool with a large amount of sun loungers so that everyone can find a nice place to rest. The host Gianni is nothing short of a great person to meet. He speaks good English which since we don't speak Italian was very helpful. Gianni provided us with many tips for locations to visit and even during the day we received apps with nice tips for great restaurants (you know where Italians eat) and where we could park our car the easiest way. He frequently checks whether everything was satisfactory and at the slightest comment he took action. The apartment was very spacious and clean. The location in Umbria is as described surrounded by tranquility but within reasonable driving distance to visit the many beautiful places in Umbria. Think of a visit to Spello, Perugia, Assisi, Bevagna, Foligno, Gubbio, Rasiglia with nice little waterfalls in an authentic small village and even more beautiful places. All this within 30 to 60 minutes drive. In short, there is plenty to do in the area if you want to do something outside this oasis. As far as we are concerned both in terms of location, environment and the hospitality of Gianni, Cerqua Rosara is worth a real 10!

we loved the atmosphere and surroundings. Gianni the host was the nicest man ever, welcomed us with open arms, brought us fresh eggs in the morning. the area were quiet and very well organised. nice pool area.

Gianni was an adorable host and our small kids instantly fell in love with Lila his dog. The kids also enjoyed the donkeys and Gianni brought us even fresh hen’s and duck’s eggs. The location is quiet and spacious, but still near to the highway. We enjoyed the nearby Monte Subasio, the proximity to Assisi, Spello and the trip to the Cascate del Menotre and Rasiglia.

The house and surroundings were so beautiful - just as shown in the pictures. Gianni was kind and welcoming and helped us in every question we had. We loved just everything - the apartment was clean and comfortable and was perfect for a family - with well equipped kitchen, and lovely Lila (Border collie) who played with the kids outside+ donkeys, chickens and goats. There’s also a pool that looks lovely, but it was too cold outside… so we’ll have to come again when it’s summer :)

Stay was like a week in Paradise, super House, pool and location with great landscapes. Nevertheless the best in this place was Gianni the host. Such a warm, hospital and polite Man i have never met. It was our First time in Cerqua Rosara but for Sure not the last one !!!!!!!!!

To commute around you need to have the car, otherwise that would be pretty much complicated.

In general location is great to visit beautiful towns in Umbria but you need a car. Its quite isolated, at least 2 or 3 km away from the village.

Peaceful place in the middle of the mountains and greenery. Very quiet, nice swimming pool, very nice appartmemt, wonderful host.

Cerqua Rosara Recidence was the best place of the destinations we visited during our trip to Italy. Gianni makes you feel welcome. There is a big pool, activities you can do like bowshooting, tabletennis and so much space around the house. Historic places like Asissi and Foligno nearby. There is a playfull dog who steals your heart. If we go back to Italy I will for sure visit this place again.

-Floor in the appartement was not really clean. My feet got really dirty after walking bare foot for a while in our accommodation. It need to be cleaned with water and soap. -We had some blood sucking horse flies during our time in the pool. And that was really annoying. It could be because of the donkeys and the goats near the pool.

Perfect pool, great garden. Huge appartement. The area is great, near Spello, Montefalco, Assisi, Spoleto and Trevi. It is very quiet. We had very hot weather in the daytime, but during the night it was nice and cool. The owner is very friendly!!!
