My poor language skills!!! Possibly the only "real" thing was a lack of understanding of how to cross the road. So used to pressing a button and waiting for the green man. But really, that's a "me" thing, not a "here" thing. Oh. One thing to be aware of. The plugs used here were the 3 pins vertically aligned. So get the right adapter. But again, not a "here" thing, but an island thing.

What did I like? Everything. Cleanliness and location being spot on. But what was best, well, the communication with the owner. Exactly what I needed for my first trip abroad, solo, in a long time., As in all my reviews, I ask myself, "Would I go here again?". Absolutely.

My only suggestion would be to have a communal fridge for guests to be able to leave water in overnight to keep cool. Very minor.

Nice location in city centre, everything reachable by walking. Even a bus stop that connects you to beach side. :) Nice breakfast every morning. Host was very nice and helpful. 10/10. I really recommend Cosmopolitan B&B. :)

Given that we were there during a heatwave, it was a drawback that there was no fridge.

The apartment was large and comfortable. The kitchenette is great for making breakfast and lunch and the fridge is really big for storing food and drinks. Our hosts were great and very helpful in organising taxi travel for us. They also recommend some great local spots to try beautiful Sicilian wine! We would definitely stay again!

Cosy and spacious room with a very nice view, air conditioning, table, television, closets and large wardrobe. Spacious and tidy bathroom too. I just loved my stay, it’s perfect for solo trips. Manfredi and Sara are very polite and welcoming.

The location of the accomodation is perfect. Shops and tourist attractions are very close, so you can walk everywhere. The rooms are clean and cozy with a nice view over the city. 😊 The host was one of the kindest I have met - very hospitable and helpful. As someone who was in Sicily for the first time, that immediately made me feel safe. Will definitely be coming back!

The private bathroom is through a corridor (not en-suite). Not a huge issue as we had our own lock and key.

My room faced onto the street and some nights it was noisy. Bring earplugs if you’re a light sleeper or book one of the rooms at the back.
