Breakfast arrangement took some getting used to, but they catered for gluten free which was appreciated. Details like a tea towel in the kitchen would help.

Extremely well maintained property run by very friendly people. Spacious apartment with great terrace. They were very keen to make sure our stay was as good as possible. We enjoyed the walk up the hill to find the restaurants.

Our accommodation turned out to be an apartment that comprised 3 rooms (bedroom, bathroom/utilty, and lounge/kitchen), which was pleasant surprise. Very roomy, very clean and with its own gated patio surrounded by flowering greenery. Beautiful. The town was 15 minute walk with a selection of local shops and restaurants. Literally 2 minute drive for those with limited mobility.

Nothing to dislike about the property except to mention that a car is necessary to get around. If you don’t have one then the hosts know a local taxi service which is very friendly.

Lovely, clean and spacious 2 bed apartment with a terrace and beautiful sea view. The sun was on the terrace from late morning to late afternoon. The hosts were very welcoming and happy to help with any requests. A 15 minute walk into Trecastagni centre where you can find supermarkets and places to eat.

Available restaurants in the area is rather limited and to reach them you have to walk over hilly terrain, sometimes quite steep. Wouldn't suggest this location if you do not have a car, which is absolutely essential. Also the connection to the motorways is not very good, so expect some complicated navigation to reach other places in the part of Sicily.

Very good breakfast was served in the room, which one has to pre-book the day before. Parking is provided within the site behind locked gates, although rarely all spaces were occupied. The view from the room over Catania in the distance was very nice. The room was very clean and with a well equipped kitchen.

We were pleasantly surprised at being upgraded to an apartment which was spacious and had a lot of facilities. We had no problems to charge our electric car on site. Friendly and welcoming staff. Will definitely visit again if we need accommodation in the area.

Parking next to room, very big clean appartment with beautiful views and all the facilities including waching machine, fridge, microwave, oven, cooker, etc... Staff where very kind, helpful and made extra arrangements for us due to ferry bad weather.

Had a lovely, relaxing one week stay at Etna Royal View! Couldn"t recommend it enough.  The owner Caruso, his family and staff are very welcoming and made our stay a very pleasant one.  The hotel is beautiful, clean and has it's own internal parking area.  The location is excellent, making it central to the main attractions.  We would definetly return.  It is truly a place of retreat surrounded by a tranquil neighbourhood and they made us feel like we were at home, treating us like family.

Saying goodbye on the last day

Instead of a room B&B we were given a 2 bedroom apartment, where we had self service breakfast and used the kitchen dining area anytime during the day. we could have even cooked our own dinner.

The apartment itself is clean, well maintained, spacious, and has all the facilities one would expect; wifi, tv, microwave, kettle, oven, etc. Mr. Caruso (and sons) gently upgraded us to the 2nd floor apartment with a beautiful terrace with views stretching out to the sea. Breakfast, which is served in the room, consists of typical Sicilian savoury and sweet goodies. For those with electric cars, the free parking at the premises provides 4 charging points. Highly recommended and will definitely visit again in the future!

A minor bit of maintenance needed, and if you don't feel comfortable driving in Sicily then you may want to consider something closer to a larger town.

Waiting time for check in was a bit longer than expected as the staff was not on premises when we arrived.

The rooms were spacious and spotless and the breakfast served in room was quite abundant. The location is half way up the Etna and provides a view on the towns below and on the sea.
