Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Car was blocked by another vehicle in the security car park. Managed to get car out without any damage. Another guest parked in front of me.
Hotel is located in a nice and quiet area. No passing traffic. Owner was a pleasant person.

Lovely place in a lovely quite area, wonderful super helpful staff (thank you very much Hassan, very helpful, he gave us a lovely room and huge thank you for food recommendation, the restaurant color was fantastic, the best pasta we had!). The room was clean and nice!

Tiny shower where it could be so much better.
The inside compared to the outside was a blessing. Beautifully decorated and with a theme to each room. HASAN was a breath of fresh air and so very helpful in giving us the best possible start to our Venice experience.

The room was very clean and good looking. The hotel is close to a few bus stations and that makes it easy to get to Venice. There is a Lidl at around 10 minutes of walking and also a bike parking where you can rent a bike.

The temperature was too warm for us and there is no control of the a/c. When I mentioned this to Hassan he kind of ignored it and told me we didn't need a/c this time of year. Would've opened the windows at night but there were no screens. Would've been nice, at the price, to have a set up for tea/coffee and a mini fridge. Shower is extremely tight.
Hassan is very friendly. Rooms really are decorated very creatively and beautifully. Super easy to get to the bus into Venice from this spot and right on the road to the airport.

It became a bit too cold with the airconditioning going all night. There probably was a way to turn it off but I must have missed it. Other than that, absolutely nothing to complain about!
It was a perfect quick stay. We arrived very late at the airport, but there was no problem checking in and receiving the key. Communication through WhatsApp was quick en efficient. The host was very kind aswell. Room was spacious and clean.

The accommodation was very great, very close to the bus station where the bus stopped directly to/from the airport and to/from the centre. I really appreciate the communication and the staff, who were very friendly - they allowed us the late check-in and luggage storage. Thank you!

If a staff is around for any emergency or an assistance overnight
Though no staff overnight, but arrangement for all keys made available for ones convinience. Will advice someone is always around whenever guests are in the house

The rooms have a slightly old-style decoration.
The property is very well located and is easy to access by bus and train from Treviso airport. Our host is very friendly and attentive to details. Our room was clean when we arrived and our beds were made the day we went to visit the city. The beds are super comfy by the way. The owner also has a small sandwich and ice cream shop, with super fresh and tasty ingredients. I highly recommend!

Room was small than expected. Couldn’t adjust the AC.
The hotel is situated very close to airport. Only 5 mints drive from venice marco polo airport. Our flight arrived at midnight but it was easy to find and easy to get access to the key. The host was very friendly and professional.

I believe it is overpriced but looks like it is planned to be expensive for such a purpose. Booking.com lags with card change if it required during error while payment taken and impossible to solve problem - no authorization for new card going.
Personal helped us to solve the problem with booking payment and arrived at 10 PM to handle. Non big, but comfortable room to be able to sleep, and take shower. Close to the airport. We used as a sleeping place to sleep well and arrive airport pretty fast.

There was no plug for the bathtub, but the staff did try to find one and were very apologetic.
We booked a night at the hotel after the airline cancelled our flight. The hotel room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is run by a very nice family who went out of their way to make sure we were happy and even went so far as to drive us to the airport the next morning once the airline advised we needed to be there earlier than planned due to an overbooked flight. The family also have a cafe and gelato store at the hotel which serves authentic Italian gelato and is delicious!

Nothing. Met and exceeded all our expeditions.
Picked this hotel as it was equal distance between airport and Venice. It is a family run business. Staff were exceptional. We enjoyed time visiting with the family. They helped us manoeuvre around and into Venice as we were new to the area. Arranged taxi to the airport. Enjoyed the coffee, cappuccino's, wine and gelato bar downstairs from the rooms. Clean quiet place perfect for our needs.
