Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

GermanyI only can say that the breakfast could be much better to meet the other qualities of the hotel.
The location of the hotel was fantastic. Basically at the beach. Bonassola is much more cozy than other cities in Cinque Terre. The Staff were all very friendly and kind, though not all speak English. The room was very clean, spacious and had a balcony on the sea side.

FinlandBreakfast could have offered more fruit and vegetable options.
Very welcoming staff and lovely view from the balcony. Bea the receptionist was really nice, helped us with restaurant recommendations and bookings. Nice breakfast, wonderful pistacchioo cornetto's and cappucinos with cinnamon and happy faces. The hotel is located in a quiet spot despite the very central location.

IrelandShower & bathroom a bit small but spotlessly clean and served the purpose.
Other reviews told about the traffic noise - it was loud! But the quality windows meant it did not disturb our sleep. Staff were extremely helpful & kind. Breakfast was good. The best pistachio croissant I've ever tasted. We loved the beach and the town. Lovely friendly area.

IcelandThere are road next to the hotel, so it can be a little bit noise, but with closed window it should not be a problem. Toilet is very small and setup is very strange ( see pic). Only for for small feet/people. There was no cooler/minibar in the room, we missed that very very much, to have cold water/vin. There was no wine glasses in the room.
Great place to stay, very close to the beach was the main reason for we choose Hotel Feluca. The bedroom we stayed in was on the first floor. We could hear that other traveler in next room did get a "good-snoring sleep" Thin walls in the hotel. Very clean. The wc was small, and litle bit a different setup for the toilet ( only for small feet & people, see pic). The balcony was next to the street, and there is sometimes noise from that. We was offered 30 euros extra for the pr.night with sea view we didnt accept. Friendly and good service from the staff.

United States of AmericaBathroom was dangerously small. Booking.com asked if we would like non-smoking rooms. We responded and the property replied "all the rooms are non-smoking". Problem was someone left the ashtray in the closet drawer. Coffee served was veru burnt. Beyond these thoughts the place was OK
The location was very peaceful.

Beautiful view of the beach and just steps away from the restaurants in Bonassola. The lady making the coffee in the mornings was very quick to remember what we liked!

IrelandOur room was large and the bathroom was great too. We has a lovely balcony looking down at the town and at the beach and the sea beyond. Breakfast was nice too. We were able to hire bikes for a very reasonable sum and cycled to nearby towns. Bonassola is a really nice village/town lots of places to eat and the beach is lovely

United KingdomBreakfast - disappointing but fine! There is a wonderful baler in Bonassola so I suggest using it. The focaccia was from the bakers was outstanding. There must be someone to bake cakes Italian style in the locality. Fruit was disappointing and grape season while we were there so maybe research some local fruit. Fruit juice was undrinkable. All things that could make your hotel much better.
Location, hot water, staff.

United States of AmericaCompensation or an appology and no fine ticket or full refund. Patti Gottesman booked the hotel my fiance and business partner. Thanks.
Was Parking was limited and tight spots to park a regular jeep. Plus the front desk Italian lady had her problems understanding my Italian and English. She granted me another day to park that rental Jeep then had a parking fine ticket sent or put on my car and passport fine when I was hotel granted an extra day to park on site.
