The bathtub was a bit broken, causing the water to leak, so we spent some time wiping the floors with the towels. However, for this price, near the city center, it is acceptable, I guess. Also, they do not provide slippers.

The location is very convenient, allowing you to reach the city center on foot in no time. Also, while not in perfect condition, a small jacuzzi in the room was a pleasant surprise! A personal fridge was also convenient.

I expected it to be more like a hostel where I could meet people, use a MW, etc. Too far from sites and taxi's cost too much. Once inside it was okay, but outside is ugly

We enjoyed our stay here, we were greeted by a very polite young man who showed us to our room and gave us some great restaurant options walking distance to the property. The location is great and easily accessible to walk to all the main attractions in Rome. Highly recommend!

Very comfortable bed and pillow. Also, the bed is large for a single traveller. Took up a lot of the room, but was worth it. Location felt like a safe area. The manager went out of his way to accommodate my unexpectedly very late arrival. Breakfast was brought to my room at the time requested. There was a fridge in the room and drink-making facilities outside the room. Room great for a single.

The lock on the bedroom door needs to be replaced. I was locked in for a minute until I forced it open. The lighting in the bathroom and the shower curtain needs to be replaced. The water drips into the bathroom because its carried with the shower curtain.

I booked a room in an apartment with other guests. It had a private bathroom and air conditioning. The air con was effective. There was a lift in the building so that helped with the heavy bag I had. It is a must to eat at the restaurant downstairs. Excellent beef fillet and seafood pasta. Nicolas the owner of Gio Suites was helpful , responsive and friendly. He let me leave my bag in the suite after checkout. The room is basic and clean in a nice area.

The door handle is very hard to lock, it should be replaced asap. The ensuite bathroom has a fancy bath (sort of jacuzzi) but it was faulty, so you can use only as shower (however it wasn’t a problem for us, we had no plan and time for a bath). It would have been nice finding a courtesy bottle of water. It costs nothing, but it makes a huge difference for travellers arriving in the room.

The room was very clean and good size for a couple. The location is great, close to bars and restaurant in the hearth of Trastevere. The owner is very gentle and accommodated our needs, especially with the check in and check out process.

Bathroom was not necessarily as described. Shower door didn’t shut, it was simply falling off the rail on each attempt of closing. shower head rail is broken therefore if you want to have a shower with the shower head hanged up you need to stand in a very far corner of the bath to literally catch some water as it is really high up. Bed mattress is very worn with massive dip in the middle , as long as you like to sleep cuddled up then it’s fine, but if you have a quiet days with your other half and turn backs on each other then you’ll end up cuddled up in the middle anyway….may work out for some ☺️

Location of Gio Suites was absolutely perfect. It’s in the heart of Rome, Trastevere, which is truly beautiful. Gio himself is very nice and friendly person.
