Some guests smoked under our window. The tv remote was a little tricky and the bed a little low but honestly no big deal compared to how fantastic everything was.

Absolutely amazing. Located right by the ferry so you can easily get to Bellagio and Verrena. Friendly staff, nice toiletries, and a wonderful breakfast. The Croissants were to die for. We had a beautiful window view of the lake. Overall, Bellismo.

Different staff saying different things , we have requested lake view rooms and we been told they will look into our request when we arrived and on our arrival receptionist refuse to accommodate and asking 100 euros extra which never mentioned before , disappointed

Our room overlooked a relatively loud and busy road that had loud motorcycles and trucks driving by at all hours of the day.

The location of the hotel next to the ferry stop was unbeatable.

Breakfast was very good with lots of options. They make great scrambled eggs to order. All types of coffee available: americano, espresso, cappuccino etc. Also available was salad, yoghurts, meats, cheeses, pastries, breads and toast. We had dinner at the hotel one night and it was excellent. The dining room and outside dining spaces are very pretty near the pool overlooking the lake. They have a quaint bar with inside and outside seating near the pool as well. The hotel is steps away from the ferry stop so very convenient to getting around the lake. There are also private water taxi tours available from a dock to the north of the hotel on the way to the small town square which is close to the water. The hotel is in a quiet part of the lake. Much less busy than Bellagio. The hotel is a bit tired looking but we actually foun the dates decor charming.

The hotel has a quirky old-world charm but could do with a renovation and style overhaul. However that will mean that it will eventually be out of our price range. So it's a trade off.

A lovely old hotel in a picture perfect position just next to the ferry at Menaggio. View from the room was superb. The hotel has old world charm but was more reasonably priced than some of the other grand hotels nearby which charge ridiculous rates. Breakfast was very good.

The ferry station was just steps away from the hotel and was very loud. Even with our windows closed I could hear the voices of the people getting on the ferry. Thankfully it stopped running by 8 pm.

The view was absolutely beautiful. The town was very walkable and the staff handled our every need. The restaurant had great food and the included breakfast was very nice.

Dinner in restaurant was disappointing for the price. Staff both on reception and in dining room could have been friendlier. A smile goes a long way!!

Very little, my wife wished that they had a hot tub but I can't say I missed it (we visited in September). The bed was nice and big but a little firm.

We went there for our honeymoon and they surprised us by upgrading our room so we had a balcony facing the lake! So beautiful. The location was amazing with quick ferry access to varenna and Bellagio. It's a quieter place to stay in than Bellagio. They have a beautiful pool facing the lake and it's a short walk away from Piazza Garibaldi. We were very happy with our stay and would recommend to others.

The location, the edge of the lake, near to the ferry terminal and bus stop. Convenience store next door. Lovely grounds and swimming pool.

Bed, window coverings, cost per night

The property was nice, location was good, we really didn’t care about view. Better window coverings are needed. Sheers are not adequate. Rooms need to be updated. Bed was not comfortable.

The rooms and decor are horribly dated. The beds very uncomfortable, sheets and towels like sand paper. Really bad for this price point!

I absolutely love this location. Right next to the Ferry for easy transportation. The water view from the hotel was spectacular!
