H-Sa was the best B&B we have visited during our 2 weeks trip in Italy. Room was really big, well equiped, recent and extremely clean. Housework was done every day. Parking (in the street in front of the house) was also very convenient. Antonella and her husband are very nice and discrete hosts. She took some time to tell us about touristic sites in Matera and give us some advices for the visit even if we arrived quite late at the B&B. On top of this, the breakfasts we had here were really amazing : every morning our hosts served us foccacias, brushettas, local cold cuts & cheeses and homemade cakes on top of the usual coffee, juices and fruits. Everything we tasted was excellent and menu was changing every day. Probably the best breakfast we ever had in a B&B.

Loved this spot. Matera itself was a huge positive surprise, and H-Sa is a great place to base yourself, a short walk to the centro/sassi with easy free parking. Comfortable bed, delicious large breakfast, friendly owners.

Property is on the hill few hunderds meters from old Matera and Sassi, and returning to apartment after visiting Sassi need your foots and legs to be very well prepared.

A bit out of town, and it feels a little like an AirBnB, albeit with very nice hosts.

We appreciated the personal attention from the staff, with a good breakfast. The location was quite useful with us having a rental car, although it is outside of the old town that has lot of lodging options.

We spent a wonderful three days in this beautifully stylish and impeccably clean guesthouse. Monica and Mario could not have been more welcoming, and produced a superb breakfast every morning-the highlight of which was Monica's delicious home made cakes.

There was nothing to dislike!

Everything was perfect and we know, because we stayed there nine days.. Housteses were the most lovely persons and professional. They gave us like 5🌟 servises, tips and had allways time for us. Their tableserved breakfast had allkind of Italian delecaties. And they cleaned our room every morning. There was peacfull and joyfull.

Ir is very well located, within Walking distance to the city center, but in a calm neighbourhood. Everything is cared with detail, from a really good hairdryer, to very comfy beds, and unforgettable home made breakfast! Antonella and Mario are great hosts, very friendly they made our stay in Matera a remarkable one!

The location was perfect , 700 meters from matera , plenty of parking , excellent structure , very safe and beautiful well furnished modern room , with plenty of space , the shower was amazing , and the breakfast was incredible , you cannot ask for more , everything very tasteful and home made , Antonella was very friendly , and treated us like family , you can make your own coffee , and can have water to take with you , you can book your room with closed eyes , can not regret a bit of my stay , and would come back for sure . Excellent wifi as well

It was all good!

This is a perfect base for visiting Matera. It is easily accessible by car with parking on the street but also a short walk to the historic centre. The best thing is that the hosts are kind and welcoming people. We were given a very nice orientation to Matera when we checked in. They were available to answer questions. And the breakfasts were just wonderful. They are showcasing the very best quality ingredients of the area. Antonella's baking is delicious, as were the pastries. The fruit, meats and especially the beautiful cheeses were all so good. Very convenient to have access to the kitchen for tea and coffee too. The house and room design is excellent. Matera is a unique and rather astonishing place, so interesting with lots to see and do. Highest recommendation for h- sa. Thank you!
