Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

No parking space in front of the hotel for arrival/departure.

Coffee at the breakfast is not very good (especially for itlay 🥲). The hotel can be very loud (at night or in the morning… because you have to throw the doors shut or they don‘t close properly…)
Hotel is very nice & good value for the money. It‘s a 25 min walk to the duomo & the metro is right around the corner (big station with a connection to almost everywhere!!).

The breakfast selection wasn’t the best I think they would add more of a variety of halal meat.
The ambience, atmosphere, location and staff were amazing ! They provided us with the connecting rooms for a guest of 4 with a balcony WHAT AN UPGRADE! The balloon set us was cute the general feeling that guests feel around us were extremely happy and comfortable.

There was nothing we did not like.
The kindness of the receptionists, they were all very kind and helpful when we had any type of questions. There was a person who stood out though, his name was Oliver. Super good attitude, kind and very helpful.

However, I have no complaints about the hotel; everything went very smoothly. It's rare to find a place that manages to meet expectations across the board, and this hotel certainly did just that.
The hotel's location is fantastic, conveniently close to the subway and within easy reach of a variety of restaurants and bars. The staff are friendly, and the breakfast was great, offering a huge range of options. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a comfortable and accessible stay!

All in all good.
Nicely close to Brera area. Clean, comfy and we asked for a quiet room at the back of the hotel and so we did not hear any noise from the clubs or bars on a Friday and Saturday night. Breakfast is pretty good.

The breakfast was wonderful! There is plenty of choice (also vegan and glutenfree) and everything is fresh! I also liked the location of the hotel. There are a lot of restaurants in the neighbourhood and I particularly liked the Gae Aulenti area.

A little noisy. Nightclubs outside so you hear all that especially when the club closes and everyone is in the street. Staff are also noisy in the morning in the corridors and other guests bang doors often.
Good location. Lots nearby and metro/tram stops nearby. Very clean and nice staff. Also has security for evenings as it’s near nightclubs.

Nothing everything was great
The staff were awesome!! They were friendly and always ready to support. All staff members were just great especially Giulia, Tiziana, Giorgia, Yuri and Stephano who were very supportive to the point they made me feel home. I stayed for 2 weeks and will defiantly will return to Tocq hotel on my next trip to Milano. The location is great many shops and cafe’s around and 2 min walk from the train station. Duomo is about 15 min walk where you pass by Barera area porto Nova and corso como which are very live areas and have so many shops and cafe’s. Special thanks to the front desk staff, the restaurant staff who was also friendly and helpful with nice breakfast every morning, and finally the housekeeping team who did a great job at maintaining my suite clean and neat at all times. Thank you all you made my stay joyful.
