The rooms are large and include a comfy patio space. The breakfast in the morning is well worth the price and is fully stocked with a wide selection of hot and cold items to choose from. The staff is very accommodating and hospitable. While I did not have an opportunity to use, the pool facilities looked very clean and enjoyable.

Everything was great. The only thing left unfinished is the connection of the two single beds. From the sound of the night, two single beds were taped together.

The balcony furniture was a bit worn and old.

Rooms are big - the hotel was happy to put two extra beds in our larger double to accommodate my two children. Breakfast was very good, lots on offer. By far the best thing was the pool - peaceful, surrounded by the Tuscan hills and a welcome treat after a days sightseeing.

Hotel pics show dark funiture rooms that look fancy, we did not get to see these. Our rooms were bright beige rooms for which they also have fantastic pictures, adjust expectations and you'll be fine, unrenovated with marks here and there and aged AC, but most important clean and ok for an overnight stay to visit Lucca. No or almost no Wifi inside room, only on the corridor (may matter to some). Rental fee of 5Eur/pool towel surprising, if you know you can prepare.

Friendly and welcoming staff, amazing pool at the back of hotel with great nature scenery we preferred staying here over a small downtown city room during hot Italian summer, free parking, location is great only 10min by car from downtown Lucca. Breakfast 9 Eur/Person was reasonable.

Limited evening menu, but lots of good choice nearby. Too bad the piano and little pool table were both past their prime.

We did enjoy a little time around the pool; clean with lots of chairs. The front of house staff where friendly and accommodating. Nice little lounge area with a bar. Breakfasts were fine.

The WiFi was really terribly unstable. The breakfast was not good. The location of the hotel is ok, but not as good as I expected.

fine for us as we had a car, but if not it’s a fair way out of Lucca. had a problem with children plonking on the lounge piano and playing snooker at 11pm but we mentioned it to the front desk and it was sorted immediately.

5km out of Lucca but ideal, with car, for visiting the town. nice and quiet. parking was secure. room was fine for one night. pool area relaxing after hot busy sightseeing of Lucca. must mention how helpful the front desk staff were, especially Roximiliana (I hope I’ve got the correct name) who was incredibly welcoming, helpful and very knowledgable.

Need to have more people attending dining area at busy times. There is only one person at breakfast time and the same at dinner. She was over busy, taking orders, cleaning up, refilling, and managing supplies and unable to look at many things. Breakfast tables were full with people still coming and they ran out of eggs and bread 40 mins before closing and couldn’t bring refills for 20 mins even after asking several times!

Clean with all basic facilities. the staff were extra nice to allow us to have dinner after 10pm though kitchen closes at 10. well located for car travellers. 15-20 mins into Pisa.
