The breakfast area is rather cramped. Maybe lengthening the hours would alleviate difficulties getting a table.

All the staff are welcoming and helpful. The location is ideal making it easy to navigate around the city. The beds are very comfy and rooms quiet - slept very well.

I find it hard to think of anything that I didn't like about this hotel. Perhaps the room's fridge, which was hung on the wall, was a little small. With 2 bottles of water and a glass inside, I only had room for four 330ml cans of beer (and that involved balancing one on top of one of the bottles of water). A slightly bigger fridge would be my only wish if I were to stay there again.

The Zanhotel Regina is centrally located within Bologna, meaning it was easy to get around the city without using public transport. I stayed in a single-bed room that was a decent size with a great bathroom (including a rainfall shower). The breakfast options were abundant and tasty. I would have no reservations in booking this hotel again, if I find myself in Bologna again

The bed was very hard.

The location was great - just up the road from the main square. The breakfast was good and there was plenty to eat. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was big. We were allowed to check in a little early.

Small boutique hotel in Bologna downtown just 5 minutes walk from main square. Room was cozy and refurbished with modern touch. Bathroom was comfortable size. Breakfast selection was good with excellent quality of everything (ham, bred and of course coffee). Receptionists were smiley and helpful (helped with printing some documents).

The bathroom is one of the reasons why I wouldn't like to stay in this hotel for a long period of time. The bathroom door is just a piece of glass that does not close completely, leaving a gap of 1cm to the room. The shower has only top piece, no bottom faucet or extension cord. If you just want to take a shower and not wash your hair, you are going to have a bad time. Breakfast was dissappointing, I would not recommend. The quality of the food and the small variety leave to be desired. Our room faced the main street which is beautiful, so we expected a bit more on the quiet side, since we were not facing the market, but there are some tables and chairs right near the hotel which can be occupied by anyone, meaning a drunk group. My recommendation for the hotel: fix up the bathrooms a bit.

This was a good short stay. Room was clean and tidy, with helpful ammenities. Location is also quite central and you can reach most of the busy streets in 4-5mins of walking. Staff was friendly and nice. Room on the smaller side, but decent enough. Beds and pillows were really comfy. I would recommend only for short stays.

Breakfast could have had more options. For 150 a night I would also expect basics like tea/ coffee in the room, tissues, slippers or a robe. Room was very small.

Staff were super friendly and informative. Room was well sound proofed and the bed very comfortable. Great barista. Good location for town and the train station. Room was very clean.

The property is at the heart of Bologna. The bed is very comfortable and the room is clean. I am supposed to check in at 9pm but owing to flight delays, I got to check in at 9am the following day and I did so to freshen up. The staff allowed me to stay an hour longer which is a gesture I highly appreciate.

It made my passage to Bologna a grateful surprise. It was easy to arrive by train. Close to the city center and easy to walk to it. Very affordable and comfortable.
