"La Capanna de Giuseppe e Maria is an incredible place! Giuseppe was incredibly helpful, providing us with excellent guides and recommendations to make our experience unforgettable. Maria's breakfast was a highlight, with incredibly fresh and delicious cakes that left us craving for more.

The garden and grounds are stunning. The room was spacious, clean, really well maintained and really comfortable bed and pillows. Maria made homemade cake or strudel every morning along with different hot dishes and the coffee was great. Guiseppe was so welcoming on our arrival and gave us great recommendations on places to visit and eat. They even have an honesty bar on site with water, juice and alcohol which was great. We hired a car, the roads were a bit scary to drive on in Sicily and quite often there were not footpaths. We were delighted to get back to the tranquil gardens at points 😊

Giuseppe and Maria are wonderful hosts, They are friendly and welcoming. The location is ideal to visit Mount Etna and Taormina, The breakfast offered a selection of meat, cheeses, fresh fruits and baked sweets.

The hosts and the garden were the absolute highlights of the stay! Giuseppe and Maria are the warmest, kindest couple, and they made our stay really special! The B&B is located a short drive from Taormina and you can see mount Etna from the garden - stunning! The rooms are clean and spacious, and the breakfast is really tasty. Staying at Giuseppe and Maria’s was a highlight of out trip to Sicily, and we would love to come back!❤️

Guiseppe and Maria were so kind and generous, going out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The breakfast was lovely, and they always made an effort to make sure we had everything we liked. The garden was so beautiful, with lots of tables and areas to hang out and have a picnic etc. The area was great, we had car so only a short hop to Taormina and other amazing Sicilian towns. We can't wait to stay with them again!

Everything was excellent!

Everything was perfect from my arrival until my check-out. Giuseppe and Maria own a beautiful big villa and an amazing garden with lemon trees, orange trees and Mediterranean plants, I would call it the Paradise Garden. They are very friendly and helpful, they made me feel like I was on holiday at my parents place, amazing humans. The room was very clean and quiet just as I requested before my arrival,it had air conditioning, the Wifi signal was perfect. The breakfast was very tasty, you must try Maria's homemade tart! They recommended me places were to eat and what to visit, there were checking on me everyday, asking me if I need anything. I can't thank them enough for making my stay a great holiday! The weight i gained from Maria’s too good to resist breakfasts !!

Marie and Giuseppe are wonderful hosts - those friendly faces who greet you even offering a pick up service from and to the airport and even picking us up from the local bus station when we were too tired to walk home which is nothing short of an oasis in what I believe to be the best part of Sicily. Giuseppe or Maria were a whatsapp message away offering their Jaguar pick up and drop off service for much less than one would pay a regular taxi driver. Both gave great advice on how to help us organise ourselves during our trip. They treated us with great respect providing vegan milk when we asked for it. Breakfast is a dream freshly prepared by Maria - no wonder Giuseppe always smiles radiantly. Never tasted more delicious breakfast croissants anywhere and her homemade treats for breakfast are tantalizing, appetizing and satisfying. What with having breakfast in a garden of Eden minus the snakes (because or a pack of well cared for, sterilised cats who are healthy and well loved) is all my tired mind needed. One should treat this property, their home and pride and joy, and these hosts with great respect. Having also provided us with hot water at night for our herbal teas, was a plus. As guests we feel it is a duty to thank Giuseppe and Marie by being courteous, following rules and ensuring cleanliness and order every time we left the room - because this lovely couple truly deserve it as by the end of the stay we felt they were long time friends and not just hosts. If i ever have the luxury of time to visit Sicily again - there is nowhere else I would choose to stay but at the peaceful Eden that is La Capanna di Giuseppe e Maria xxx oh! Not to mention the comfort offered by cold drinks tucked in a refrigerator where one may purchase drinks and wine and leave the set amount per drink in a bowl outside. Maria even gave us great suggestions where to dine. There is only one disadvantage to this stay - I left Maria and Giuseppe’s capanna weighing an extra two kilos 😝😝😝

Staying at La Capanna di Giuseppe and Maria was a wonderful experience. Everything was perfect: the room , the cleanliness , the view to Etna, the breakfast (with special and delicious dishes prepared by Maria using their own Sicilian Lemon) and the attention from both Giuseppe and Maria whom helped us to plan our days ! There are no words that can describe how amazing was our 2 days here! Any score below 10 is not fair ! Giuseppe and Maria makes you feel home since the first minute and we wish we could have more time to stay longer! Thank you for our best Sicilian memories!

Everything was lovely, but if anything: The walls of the room are very thin. If you have chatty neighbours you will hear that in the night.

Maria and Giuseppe are super lovely hosts and are very welcoming. They are super helpful with planning your day. The breakfast is lovely, so is the garden and the view onto Mount Etna. The location is great for day trips to the beach in Naxos or Taormina (we took the bus to Taormina on two days and that was very easy). But make sure you have a car when staying there. We really loved our stay!

Possibly but not a dealbreaker whatsoever either kettle in room in safe place for a cup of tea. Maybe us english like our tea on tap . However this is a minor request in the grand schem of things

Words cannot express how happy we were staying here . I am a coeliac and the hosts provided gluten free food willingly with very short notice . It was understood very clearly . The gardens are beautiful and the house is just lovely . Giuseppe and maria are just fabulous happy people and super helpful This is something that is natural to them We feel so refreshed and the scenery in distance of mountains was stunning was sooo beautiful . This has encouraged us to go to scicily again
