The apartment was very close to the main streets and an amazing view point. There are many shops and restaurants nearby but it is very quiet and private. Inside was modern, well decorated and very clean. We had a nice terrace but unfortunately we’re not able to use it because of the weather. The owner was not present at the check in but he gave us instructions through WhatApps and helped us find a free parking spot. He had an extensive knowledge of Matera and gave us a lot of informations. He also let us leave our luggage after check out so we could enjoy the city longer.

Great apartment super terrace 5 mins from historic Matera. Pasquale made sure he did everything to make our stay perfect we could have stayed there much longer. The fridge was full of goodies including some of the local cuisine. Pasquale loves people and welcome them has family.

Nothing, though I would have liked an iron - just being fussy though!

Location was perfect, so close to everything in the sweetest little street, the room was spotless and spacious and the fridge was next level well-stocked. There was a range of breakfast items - yoghurt, cereal, pastries-plus cheeses, tomatoes, focaccia, fruit, beer wine and juice. Amazing and so welcome! Plus we could cook in the well equipped kitchen, spread out and relax. Really loved the balcony too!

The room is on the second floor. We travel with big luggages. Anyway, it is worth to waste our muscle power for the room.

The location is only few steps away from the main street and view point but hidden in a quiet street. Superclean and spacious!!!. The owner, Pasquel, he is very thoughtful and pay attention in every minor detail of our request. He helped us find free parking spot for our rental car. Food in refrigerator was fresh and well selected.

Absolutely nothing.

Our host met us at the station and took us to the property which was very kind. The accommodation was great. The fridge was bursting with treats for breakfast and more. Very spacious, comfortable and well equipped. Location was excellent. Just a few minutes walk to one of the viewpoints overlooking the town and restaurants just round the corner. The town was amazing, so much to see and do.

Pascal was the most generous and accommodating host we've ever come across in years of travelling. Everything was virtually perfect. Good communication with regular follow-up, easy to find, great location, very clean, well sized with all necessary equipment and facilities. And, the large amount of lovely food and drinks was completely unexpected but truly appreciated.

Nothing … it was perfect

A beautifully renovated and equiped (including a washing machine) spacious apartment in a very quiet location only minutes walk from the Matera old town. Pasquale met us and assisted us in locating free and safe parking for our car. We were also welcomed with a carafe of wine and selection of fresh pizza for lunch whilst he outlined the points of interest in his home town. The kitchen and fridge were laden with fresh local fruits, cheeses, meats, breads and pastries. Pasquale also went out of his way to source an excellent selection of gluten free options. Many thanks for making our stay in Matera so memorable.

It could not have been better…how often to you get a dishwasher and washing machine in Italy ??

Monica and Pasquale left a fridge full of gorgeous fresh items for us to prepare meals…bread, focaccia, crisp toasts for bruschetta, cakes and fresh strawberries, a large basket of fruit, sweet little grape tomatoes, a wedge of parmesan cheese, 2 burrata. And….beer, wine, water, coke and milk, not to mention oil, vinegar, coffee, jam, cereal, yoghurt etc. Well equipped, spotless, modern IKEA-esque interior, in an excellent location.

Wonderfully renovated, very clean and spacious apartment in a quiet location very close to the old town. A fully stacked fridge and local delicacies were provided by Pasquale our perfect host. He gave us a warm welcome, showed us a free carpark and introduced the various points of interst to us. It felt like home from the first evening.

A beautiful, clean, airy, spacious and modern apartment very close to the old town. Pasquale gave us a very detailed description of what to see in Matera which was very helpful. The kitchen and fridge were full of food choices for breakfast and lots of extras too. Matera is the most amazing town and this apartment was the perfect choice. We were even taken to a free car park where we could leave our car and then driven back with our luggage in their car. We would highly recommend Casa dei Noni for a stay in the beautiful town of Matera.

This is the definition of hospitality! Pasquale picked us up from the bus station and drove us to our temporary home where he had stocked the kitchen with enough food for several days. Every detail has been thought of and more. Our apartment was spotlessly clean, spacious and well decorated with a wonderful terrace. The location was quiet and convenient, in the middle of everything and just steps away from the sassi, piazze, restaurants, caffes, shops and the corso. We have already booked our next stay. Amazing - and quite big for 2 people - apartment at a perfect location in Matera. Very friendly owner, abundance of food in the fridge for a stay of only 2 days with fresh fruit and cheeses and focaccia and more. And a very good bed. Would have stayed longer if the schedule allowed it. Highly recommended!!

Everything was exeptional. The frige was full of everything you could imagine. The coffe machine is fantastic. The apartament is bigger than the others in this region. We left the car in front of the house. But the most important-Pasquale is very polite and he makes your vacation in Matera unforgetable. Thank you, Pasquale!!!

Best accom ever ! Pasquale provided us with so much delicious food including the matera bread ! One of us is gluten free and he has also provided a basket of gluten free options for us! modern bathroom, very good shower pressure and hot water. room temperature was kept at a very comfortable temperature. Upon arrival ( we were early for the check in ), he shared with us the map of matera , the routes to check out as well as recommended restaurants for us. loved the space at the terrace. very good base to explore matera, stone throw away from one of the view point and start of the old town.
